Cottage on the canal

3 bed 2 bath and 1 car garage on the canal. Close to Ana Maria Island beaches, IMG Academy and shopping. Newly renovated inside and out. Large master bedroom has a king size bed along with a full bedroom set and a desk. The two spare rooms have a queen size bed also with full bedroom sets. All bedrooms have tv’s in them.
Outside has a screened in heated swimming pool and covered Lani. The dock is 30 feet in length and also has a floating dock. Also on premise are two adult and one child kayak. Will to rent monthly, week or short time lease. Please email jrwmer@

Our winter getaway
This place was great the heated swimming pool the family had a great time. Very convenient to all the restaurants and beaches. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time staying at this VRBO. The house is spotless, extremely well stocked and had everything we needed! The kayaks were great fun and we loved the heated pool. The owner was quick to respond to messages. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Property
Location was easy to get to and from beaches and places inland. Very clean house with plenty of room. Pool and outside areas were great to relax in, and so many different options to enjoy so everyone could find their own spot. Only downside is the pool didn’t have much of a shallow end so would be difficult for smaller kids to enjoy with a flotation device

Awesome! Highly recommend.
This home was perfect for us, well kept, very clean, and well stocked. Fished for hours right off the dock. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Such a comfortable relaxing home, you are able to isolate, enjoy some peace and quiet, yet not far from restaurants and other conveniences. If you like to fish and relax. Stay here you won't be sorry.

We had a great stay at this property. A few little things cake up but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay. The pool was so great. We spent many hours floating in warmth. Traffic is crazy there but we just took it in stride and enjoyed our time.

Great house with great shared spaces and good sized bedrooms. Location is perfect if you’re bringing your boat. Close to the Gulf Pass, sand bars, fishing spot, and restaurants. The pool is crystal clear and a great way to end the day after being out in the salt water all day. Would stay here again 100%

We had such a wonderful stay at Cottage on the Canal!! Everything was exactly as described and pictured (actually, it was better in person!!), and we will definitely be booking again for all of our stays in this area! A nice getaway
The house was in perfect conditions!! It was well equipped with everything we needed! The property itself is pretty big where you can enjoy the pool but also have a nice patio area where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. Big enough dock for our boat and there’s a boat ramp really close by to the house which is a big plus!!!

Fabulous house in great location
We enjoyed our recent stay at Cottage on the Canal. The check in process was seamless and the house was exactly as shown in the pictures. We were in town for soccer and it was nice to find an umbrella and some chairs in the garage to help us with our stay. During our downtime, we enjoyed the kayaks, the firepit, sitting on the edge of the canal, and swimming in the DEEP pool. Towels were very soft and coffee in the kitchen with everyday spices were a plus. Would love to rent this house again!

Great Getaway
We arrived to a very clean and beautiful home. Each room had everything we needed and then some. Pool area was wonderful - even had pool toys for the kids. Kayaks were so nice - we even saw a sunset at the end of the canal. Kitchen was well equipped as well. Great stay - thank you!

This house was even better than the photos! The house is located in a safe neighborhood, was very clean and had a cute beach theme. The owner was very accommodating too. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool and kayaking the canals! I would stay here again! ❤️

We loved this house it had everything we needed,. It is in a great neigborhood, and is close to all stores, restaurants, and beaches. Pool was great to have for when we came back from being on the boat all day. It has easy access to the channel and the fock at the house. Overall wonderful home.

2nd Time Guest
This was our 2nd time staying here while visiting our son and his family during his time in dental school. We celebrated Thanksgiving down here a couple of years ago and when looking for place to stay for his graduation this week, this was the first place we looked and fortunately it was available. Comfy beds, cold A/C, heated pool and a well stocked kitchen.

Quiet and cozy neighborhood
Outside of some pool heat issues that I was able to alleviate with the help of Maureen and her husband, we loved the place. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. We rode the bikes for a bit one day, tried the kayaks out, and lounged around the pool. Thanks Maureen!
