"Great location, walkable to the castle"

"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was just what we needed with bath and shower. The restaurant at the hotel was ace, local people come to eat and they book up, the menu is wonderful and the food taste amazing. They have a function room for party which we didn’t see but saw people use. All broad is bed and breakfast is a Scottish breakfast buffet, the kitchen staff will also make different types of eggs, which was great as am lactose intolerant. "

"The on site lodges give a great hybrid option - hotel amenities and services, but with your own 2, 3 or 4 bedroom lodge to stay in (including with dog if need be). A bit like self catering, but much better (and all the essentials included on your arrival, so none of the self-catering hassle!). Restaurant good, breakfast too expensive so suggest self catering for that part, swimming and activities all great. Stunning location. Thoroughly recommend."
