Bozeman Weekend
We had a great time using the cottage for the weekend in Bozeman. We were there over move-in weekend for MSU and used the cottage as our home base. Super convenient location to get to and from campus and other areas around Bozeman. The cottage-style was right for us and fit our needs perfectly!!

Disappointing rental
We were very disappointed and not happy with what we saw. We come from Florida (far far away). This is our vacation and we rented this so called cabin based on the pictures we saw. The cabin looks more like a house than an actual cabin. The pictures on the internet and the house we rented were not alike at all. The beautiful vibrant colors posted that catch your eye immediately, while in person the colors are dull and sad. The exterior fence and pathway are falling apart. The interior of the house was also a big disappointment. The minute you enter, you get that old house smell that was not pleasant. The furniture Is outdated. The flooring has scratches and old dirty carpeting throughout the place. There’s even holes and scratches in some parts of the wall. The one bathroom the house has is very small and the toilet seat is the smallest and most uncomfortable toilet seat I’ve ever sat on. The beds are also way too small, they include one twin bed that my 17 year old son’s legs stick out when he lays down, and a queen bed that looks more like a full size that me and my husband do not fit at all whatsoever in. Like I said earlier very disappointed

Amazing value and great location.
Super quiet, right by the highway. Marcia was a wonderful host. We loved the filtered water in the kitchen and the abundant nature everywhere. Despite being a bit rustic (which we loved), the home was super clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect central location for a Montana based fishing trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place
This place gave us exactly what we need; comfortable beds, a great kitchen and beautiful deck to enjoy the weekend with sun. The only downside to the place were the passing trains. As a light sleeper they were close and noisy. The house itself, however, was close to town but very quiet and no neighbors (except the deer that walked past in the morning). We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the house.

Quiet, homey little vacation cottage set amid farms just outside of Bozeman. Marsha, our host, made sure that we had everything that we needed, and I won't hesitate to stay there again when I'm back in southwestern Montana.

Very quaint and comfy place with GREAT host!
We really enjoyed this place along with Marsha McCool, the host, who was wonderful. We'd definitely stay here again. We had 6 of us involved with my son's college graduation at MSU so it was a perfect place to stay! Very accommodating!

Beautiful Get-Away Location!
My daughter and I loved staying in this cabin just out of town, but still close to all of the activities available in Bozeman. It is a beautiful location and the cabin was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed chatting with Marsha about new places to check out, gardening, etc.

Cozy Cabin
This cozy cabin is just outside Bozeman. Comfortable for 2-3 people. Extremely clean and nicely appointed. The owner was very easy to work with and left beautiful desserts for us to enjoy. Arrival and departure was a breeze! Definitely recommend.

Cozy, charming, convenient and clean
We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. The host left us fresh scones and cut lilies. The cabin was a perfect home base for our stay. Our son attends MSU and it was a quick drive to the campus. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings, surrounded by beautiful flowers and birds. All the amenities you need are provided. Comfortable beds! We will most definitely stay here again.

My initial impression was a wonderment of nature.
This property reminded me of Little House on the Prairie. The Views are spectacular no matter which direction you gaze into. Marsha the owner of this property is truly a delightful person. She was willing to answer any questions I had at any time of day. She graced me with wonderful Bakery goods for my first morning along with coffee accessories. The home was extremely comfortable and clean with all of my expected needs being met. The bed was very comfortable. Several times during my stay I had the opportunity to see deer in the backyard. My only drawback that I would consider possibly an inconvenience for other's would be the excessive multi levels of wooden ramps that go up to the front door and around to the back yard.

Beautiful place, but noisy outside because it is close to the interstate.
We did not get to meet the owner due to her having to be out of town, but I did speak with her on the phone ... she was very nice and helpful. The house was very clean and decorated nicely, with a pretty view of the distant mountains. We had a bit of trouble getting the radiant heat set to a temperature that was not too hot in the bedroom, but once it was right, the house was comfortable. I used the provided portable heater in the bathroom which kept the chill out of that room. The main bedroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. Coffee and hot chocolate was provided in the kitchen, and nice bath items were provided in the bathroom. There is a washer and dryer for doing laundry. The wooden walkway up to the house from the parking area is long, but not a bad walk. The only thing that really bothered us was the noise from the interstate and a distant train. The interstate could always be heard when outside, and the train could be heard inside at night. For the price that we paid, I guess we expected the home to be more secluded and quiet ... but overall it was a nice place to stay. The location of the house does allow you to get to restaurants and shops via a short drive. Sourdough Canyon is also nearby with a walking trail, but be sure to carry bear spray ... we saw several bear trails that came down onto the hiking trail. Most of the hikers had dogs with them or were carrying firearms for protection. Bozeman is a beautiful place ... we plan to visit again!

Cute, comfortable cabin
The beds and bedding was soft and comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. The cabin was plenty spacious for our group. Be aware that the ramp is twice as long as it looks in the picture, so if you have a lot of stuff to haul, you'll be making several trips back and forth to your car! There is a little cart that helps though. The beautiful wooden floors are a little creaky (as old wood floors often are) visiting if you're trying to quietly walk to the bathroom in the dead of night! There are hiking trails a few minutes drive away. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful location
On our first visit to Bozeman we loved this rental! The owner is very nice and accommodating, she thoughtfully left us some pastries for the morning as we arrived late in the evening. It was a quiet location sitting up on the hillside so it has wonderful views. Everything we needed was there and it is just a short drive to town. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area!
