"Gite was compact and comfortable, just what we needed for a 2 week stay. The hosts Karen and Steve met us when we arrived, were really friendly and gave suggestions of where to visit. The location was perfect, peaceful, but easy enough with a car to reach other places to visit. We will definitely return!"

"Our two year old son loved the outdoor area: chasing the ducks, watching tia the dog and the horses being cooled down with water. The sandpit (boulles area!) was his favourite and we really appreciated the fenced swimming pool with 2 locks. No need to bring any toys, lots of games were provided. The only thing we’d look for next time would be mosquito nets around the beds and some cushions for the outdoor seating for when we’re outside in the evening. "Beautiful property, stone and beams inside, very rustic, equiped with everything you could need including BBQ and very comfy bed! Wonderful views whichever way you looked, a lovely pond where I saw fish, frogs and water snakes! The owners Sarah and Tim are fantastic! Such lovely friendly people with a wealth of local knowledge! (Including advising us of the best way to get to the rugby in Bordeaux!) I must also mention Tia, their rescue dog who we became very fond of! Such a well behaved...

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
