We have stayed in the area a few times as we have friends in the area but finding this property has been a very pleasant discovery. "A delightful property in a stunning location in the middle of the Dordogne countryside. The house has plenty of grounds in which to roam or play and the family particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. All facilities are provided in the house and if we wanted any additional equipment, such as a barbeque, we only had to ask. Eileen and Richard were the perfect hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be returning."

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"A charming selection of several stone-built gites that are set in a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from a couple of villages and the magnificent Chateau de Biron. Our hosts Tony and Lisa were superb and our gite offered everything we needed. The gites, grounds and gardens were very well maintained as was the fabulous swimming pool. We will definitely be making a return visit."

"We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "
