"High quality accommodation recently renovated to a very high standard. Very private and delightful garden space. Calm , quiet location. Everything was provided to ensure a memorable experience. The VRBo listing is slightly misleading as there is no internet connection at the property however this did not spoil our holiday as we had alternative provision with our home internet provider. "The house was perfect for our family trip. We were Grandpa, Grandma, Nan, Mum, Dad and 4 kids (aged 19,11,9,6). Being on the outskirts of the city allowed us to walk into Nantes (just 20 minutes) and visit the fantastic Isle of Machines, the bustling water front and the Natural History museum. "Fantastic stay in Le Vieil. The hosts are such lovely people and very welcoming, the house is beautifully furnished and the location is magical. We had everything we needed: the beach just a few metres away, space for our bikes, well-equipped kitchen, a wonderful private courtyard, and a luxurious shower room. "Only speaking minimal French it was difficult communicating with the manager, as she spoke no English. Likewise the information for the house was only in French. There was 13 of us and just had enough room to all eat together, but it was a squeeze. Also the oven and fridge are small for large group. Lovely big garden but uneven making it hard for the kids to play and run around. With all the space a swimming pool would have been good/useful as a little drive from any beach. The house was clean...
