This is a fabulous 6-bedroom mansion in Bourgnac. It has a bubble bath and swimming pool and is perfect for big groups and families.

The mansion is 3 km from the village of Bourgnac and 5 km from the larger village of Mussidan. The area is renowned for its excellent wines. The town of Bergerac is 25 km away. Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne, is 35 km north of the house. In the Périgord Noir you will find the village of Les Eyzies, home to some of the most famous prehistoric cave sites in Europe. This is also an excellent area for hiking, cycling and canoeing. There's a tennis court 3km away and a water sports facility 5 km from here. There is a restaurant just 1km away and a supermarket 6km from here.

The home has a table tennis table, a garden with furniture and a terrace with barbecue. It is child-friendly and has a children’s bed and high chair. You're allowed to bring 2 pets. It offers bed linen and bath towels.

De accomodatie is te duur voor wat hij te bieden heeft. Alles is verouderd (zoals keukengerei), de bedden slapen niet goed, de douches werken niet naar behoren. Er is al jaren lang niet meer grondig gepoetst. De kamer in de poolhouse kan men moeilijk als een volwaardige kamer beschouwen. De website vermeldt ook niet dat de verschillende huisjes op enige afstand van elkaar liggen. Het zwembad is niet afgewerkt rondom rond ruwe beton, geen betegeling. Men kan niet met het aantal personen waarvoor het verhuurd wordt aan één tafel zitten. Men dient constant keukengerei van de buitenkeuken naar de binnenkeuken te brengen om allemaal samen te kunnen eten. De eigenaar is vriendelijk (wel met hond die ongewenst op het domein rondloopt), de aankomst was hartelijk. De omgeving is mooi.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die bij aankomst veel uitleg geeft over de streek en wat er zoal te doen is. De verschillende gebouwen waren spijtig genoeg niet proper (muf, stof, glazen en bestek vuil, bodem zwembad vuil, ...). Eerste maaltijd begon met een afwas... Het hoofdgebouw is vrij donker (foto's zijn overbelicht) wat een ander gevoel geeft dan wat de foto's doen uitschijnen. Vrij terrein waar geen verkeer passeert, zeer goed om de kinderen vrij te laten rondlopen zonder gevaar. Al bij al denk ik dat er in deze prijsklasse betere opties te vinden zijn, zeker qua netheid kan dit een pak beter.
