It’s a nice village to stay for transit The swimming pool was very nice and clean. There is no airconditioning but we knew that and it was okay. "Motor racing themed budget hotel on the main street of this spa town. Seems family-run. Very friendly pleasant staff. Room is a little worn but large and comfortable. I couldn't drink the large complimentary bottle of Contrex water which had a sulphorous tinge. Contrexeville is nothing special except the spa which I didn't visit. Not far from the upper Moselle which is pretty and has a great bike path. Excellent indoor bicycle storage. "
