This is hidden gem!! Hiking out your door, 10 minutes to pearl street, beautiful romantic grounds with a creek running right thru the property. The lodge is historic and is built of stone. My room had a stove top and I made most my meals right in the room. I will be back.

Beautiful quiet setting to use as a jump off point for everything you want to do in the East Rockies including Boulder/Denver and beyond! Rustic, comfortable, really laid back! As soon as you hit 4 Mile Creek, Boulder disappears…..it’s not a “city” destination, it is a slice of peace and tranquility that’s slips away every day…..

Misleading information about "hotel", No Cell service ! Place is dark, very old , our "key " took forever to open the door and then we couldn't get the key out of the lock. Our towels had a damp feeling to them.... Could go on and on ! I will say one positive, the staff were nice and the place was quiet .

Stayed at A-Lodge for a nearby wedding. It was a lot of fun. Fire pits, hot tub, pet friendly, happy hour and coffee in the lobby, WiFi-lots of amenities. Staff and owner were very friendly. Uber will come out there or you can even walk into town along a path. I think it’s about 3 miles. Beds were comfy. Make sure to fluff your pillow. It comes in a square but you can fluff it out to make it bigger. We stayed in a base camp cabin but there are places for tents and a hostel. It was a great spot!

I was in the hostel at this property. I didn't know it was co-ed which ended up being fine and I had fun. I would've appreciated it if they had little curtains by each bunk for extra privacy. I liked how clean it was and so close to the woods. I was able to catch a bus with a short walk. No signal in the rooms so you have to rely on wifi to talk to people. I will definitely be bacK!

We loved the natural mountain landscape surrounding the place, and the room itself was very comfortable and clean with plenty of space for us both. We had some issues with the TV, and the front desk person was super helpful and friendly and got it all sorted out for us. It's a very beautiful space!

Comfy and Clean Double Queen
My adult daughter and I stayed at A-Lodge Boulder for 4 nights while we explored the area. We were in a Basecamp Double Queen room with a kitchenette (#27). The room was very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cookware, utensils, a few dishes, and flatware. We cooked breakfast in the room before getting started each day. We each live at lower elevations, so boiling water for cooking eggs was a lengthy experience! The kitchen had a mini refrigerator (no freezer compartment), a good-sized electric cooktop, and a full-sized 2-basin sink. A dish towel, new sponge, and dish detergent were provided. A small dish drying rack would have made a nice addition. The Bivouac coffee that was provided in the room was delicious. We didn't sample the various teas. The room wasn't air conditioned, but that wasn't an issue for our stay September 7 - 11. A box fan and a space heater were available in the room for use if needed. There was a skylight in the ceiling over the beds, and there is no way to block out the light. We were awakened fairly early each morning by the light in the room. It was not a HUGE problem, but being able to control the natural room lighting would be nice. There was a large television on the wall over the desk, and there was plenty of space to stow luggage, hang clothing, or stash it in cubbies in the shared nightstand or beneath the desk. We found the beds to be comfortable.

This property was just what we were looking for on our last night of a 3 week road trip. It was quiet and comfortable and in the middle of the countryside - watch out for the deer. In fact we wished we had booked longer. The only downside is that there are no catering facilities so if you wanted a meal you had to order in or take the road down the mountain to Boulder. The spiders are also bruisers so don't leave your doors open if you don't want a visit!!!

A-Lodge is just short ride from Boulder which gives you a beautiful off the grid vibe but the city is very close if you need anything or want some nightlife entertainment.
