"Lovely property! The bakery is unique lodging and was in an excellent location to explore Normandy. The walk into Bayeux was a bit long but lovely along a river. We visited the DDay sites as well as Mont St Michel by car. The owner lives in a large house on the property and was very welcoming and informative, though with no one present on arrival it was easy to follow directions to access the property. This is absolutely a great location to stay if you are travelling in Normandy by car. "

"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"We loved the property, it had all the basics we required. The only down side was that access is via an alleyway which was difficult to navigate (and find) with suitcases and young children. The local area around the gite was great and this would suit couples or adults without children "

Property manager was excellent with communication and he and his spouse met us at check in and gave us a tour of their GORGEOUS property! They live onsite, so there are private areas with no access to guests (3 units on site, all with their own private outdoor spaces), however we found it perfectly comfortable, private and peaceful. "Perfect location and house for our group of 7. Stayed 5 nights, enjoyed seeing the sights during the day and kids would play in the pool before dinner. Deck gets the sun all day and spent lots of time out there. Hosts were prompt and helpful with any questions and very discreet."

"The Gite was extremely clean and comfortable and warm with homely furniture and great equipment. The log burner was welcome for warm cosy evenings. There are lovely views across the countryside . The garden is secure with furniture and a BBQ great for summer time although we did brave it whoie the sun was out. It is situated near to Bayeux, a great place to explore with everything you need shopping wise a very close proximity by car. The host was very welcoming and showed us around but was on...

"We adored this property! It was so beautiful and tranquil. It was so easy to travel to the D-sites and very close to Bayeux, our nearest gorgeous town. It was also very easy to get taxis. Even the drivers are really friendly. It was a very relaxing house. Fully recommend it!!"

"Just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at La P'tite Maison. Catherine and Didier were fabulous hosts, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the surprise of a bottle of cider, 4 home made macaroons and a jar of homemade jam to greet us, all very yummy. The accommodation was spotless and everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable. Parking was easy behind a locked gate and there was a garden with outside furniture and swing. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

"The room was very comfortable and well set-up. The bathroom and shower were excellent. There was an extensive breakfast that was available starting at 6:00, as we left fairly early every day. We were able to park on the street close to the hotel all 3 nights we stayed. It was a convenient location, easy to get to the highway, just across the river from the city of Caen and near several restaurants and stores."
