The villagers were also friendly and forgiving of our French!! The swimming pool at the gîte was a high spot for us all and we swam every day. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"The purpose of our visit was to attend the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival at Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau is an easy run from Poligny and definitely a place worth exploring. Beautiful countryside and a very relaxed atmosphere. The Gite was comfortable and we enjoyed meals outside in the courtyard under the beautiful ash tree. Being a converted stone farm building the ground floor lacked natural daylight but the outside space more than compensated. Jacques,s English was quite good which was just...
