"The Himeville Arms is a newly renovated country inn. The Inn itself is decorated nicely and kept up to date, including a pub, several dining areas as well as sitting areas. It is really nice. The cottages are not newly renovated and in acceptable condition. The staff deserves recognition for their willingness to assist you and always attending to customer services. "The Hotel has so much potential but there is a clear lack of care. During breakfast the linen was dirty. The breakfast was poor considering it cost R200 per person. The hotel is not cheap, but leaves a lot to be desired."

"On this website this hotel is a PET FRIENDLY property. We booked a Pet Friendly room but upon arrival were told the room we booked was not pet friendly. They wanted us to move to a much smaller room which we refused to do. They then told us that we would not be allowed in the dining or bar area with our puppy and if we wanted to order anything we would have to stay in our room and order room service. To get to this property you have to drive through an unsavoury area, we could not risk driving...

"We were breaking our journey, so only there overnight, but it was a great stay. Wonderful having the animals strolling outside. Ideally a longer stay would be better to experience more that's on offer. Facilities were good. Direction signage could be better placed. "
