Overall had a nice stay for 5 nights. It was a good spot to stay with driveable proximity to nearby attractions like the downtown area, Salem, etc. The place was clean and felt a bit higher end than most Holiday Inns. I’ll say as a midwesterner the staff personality was a bit chilly but could be a cultural difference as they were still helpful and cooperative. They did say that since we were staying several days we’d have to request room cleaning but they did it twice without asking which was nice. Now for the negatives. It’s hard to keep anything food/drink wise. There wasn’t a single functioning ice machine so I had to ask the desk attendant to fill it up in the back for me. The rooms say they’re equipped with a refrigerator but when I realized ours wasn’t very cold and asked the front desk about it they said it’s more of a wine cooler. That just makes little sense to me. Lastly as some have already reviewed (which I failed to read ahead of my stay) - parking is not free and $25/night which seems like it should just be included in the room cost because the area isn’t the most accessible other than by car.

The hotel seems to have been renovated not too long ago. Rooms are spacious, modern and well maintained. Very quiet and only about 20 minutes from the city center (without traffic). I would definitely stay here again.

Charged $25 for a small parking lot, we were lucky to find a spot. Bar and restaurant were both closed, $17 per person for breakfast. Rooms were cozy and bed was comfortable. But for the price of a one night stay was outrageous for everything being shut down when we got there

I booked it as it had an airport shuttle, a bar and restaurant. When I called them, they said that shuttle service was discontinued this month. When I arrived ($20 taxi), I found that the bar and restaurant had also shut down earlier this month. It was 8:30, and being elderly and handicapped, I coukd not walk to a restaurant. Had to ordered a pizza. It was fine, but I was not a happy camper. The only thing that calmed me down (after paying $550 for a room!) was the very kind and understanding young lady at the front desk. The room was fine, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

When we arrived, a gentleman was standing in front of the front desk, indicating he had been waiting 15 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes, and I knocked on the door behind the front desk. Shortly afterward, Ross came out. Frequently during our stay, no one was at the front desk.
