It was a clean place, but the shared bathroom door didn’t close properly, and the heater wasn’t working well, I had to sleep with my jacket on plus it was super noisy and would turn on and off automatically so I was constantly waking up scared. There’s no check-in desk, so everything is handled via email. While the staff responded quickly, the process felt less flexible. I would recommend for a few days.

My stay at the Bay Village Hotel in Boston was amazing. To be honest, it was my first experience staying in a self-serving hotel like this. However, everything was good. No one disturbed me, and every time, the hotel was quiet like I was alone in the entire building, and it was convenient.

It is a hostel - so you have your own room and share a bathroom. I personally didn't have any issues with this - there are multiple bathrooms throughout the building. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. It had all the necessities - fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, paper towels, extra toilet paper, towels. Small room - but again, has all the necessities - perfect for a short quick week-long trip.
