"We loved our stay at Palagina. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Our room and the views are absolutely stunning. We loved hanging by the pool and taking walks on some paths to see natures around us. Wine and olive oil was also super tasty! We did a tasting and it was fantastic. Only thing that was that there is only a few restaurants on the property and they closed some for events so you are stuck with eating there if you don’t have a car. And taxis are practically non existent in this area,...

The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. "A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. "What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - in short we could fault our stay at Castello di Volpaia."

"This is an extremely lovely property. The grounds are beautiful. There is parking and a pool. Lots of little areas to sit and relax. The attention to detail is appreciated. Love the decor. The staff is helpful and the breakfast was very good! I highly tecommend! . "

"Ya habia estado volvi porque me encanto pero ahora no es igual el desayuno muy pobre , y la habitacion era chica e incomodo para or al baño con escalones de por medio y no estaba todo disponible para ver como por ejemplo la capilla y la sala de recepciones … y ademas el testing era free y ahora no , lamento de ir todo esto pero es verdad . "

"This property was lovely with fantastic views, wonderful staff and dining. Rooms were clean, spacious and quaint. Only difficulty during rainy season was unpaved road quite rough to navigate. Otherwise - will absolutely return to this beautiful property."

"Quaint 7-bedroom villa/hotel in the middle of Tuscany with close approximation to Raddi, a great little town with shops and good restaurants and gelato! The property allows for a very quiet stay, great Chianti made there and wonderful breakfasts and dinner. Relaxing, easy travel to other cities snd lots of wine tasting close by. Perfecto! Ciao…"

"Location a long way from shops (11 miles), descriptions of house not accurate, is not detached, not new conversion. Tripping hazard in kitchen area (step down to well), very uncomfortable dining chairs, two-seater sofa is only soft seating, odd mix of bits of crockery, cups/saucers don't fit, lots of useless clutter in kitchen, dreadful damaged cooking pots/pans. Height restrictions and cramped quarters upstairs, no electric kettle as advertised (but provided on request) shower not...

"The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec! "

"We were met by the property owner who was pleasant and informative. The room was exactly as depicted in the photos and property was in excellent condition. We would recommend to anyone staying the area at any time of year/ "
