The hotel continued with dining facilities and laundry despite constant air raid alarms and power difficulties. How the staff keep such happy smiling faces with all that must be going on in their own lives is incredible. "Reception made a small mistake during my check in and was very apologetic. They upgraded my room and gave me a free drink voucher. I appreciate the compensation although I do wish I would have been offered credit for my next stay. The upgraded room didn’t feel all too upgraded to me. It was a city view room which was fine, but I preferred the atrium view. And the drain in the bathroom tube would gurgle. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. I plan to stay here every time I come to Kyiv. "
