This cool mid-century modern house is right on the De Anza Golf, a close drive from the Anza Borrego State Park and a quick jaunt from small town or Borrego Springs. Almost all of the architectural details have remained untouched since this home was built in 1957 and we love it that way. Almost all of the rooms have doors that open on to a large covered patio that runs the length of the house.
From the original pink bathrooms to the still-working oven and stove, we love the vintage details throughout the home. Sitting around a campfire while viewing the starry night sky is the perfect ending to a day of hiking in the nearby Anza Borrego State Park. Or, put on some Sinatra and mix a groovy cocktail made with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made from the trees in the yard.
