"Great location with an easy airport shuttle. The rooftop restaurant and pool were great. Room & bathroom were very nice. They have a good gym. It would have been nice to have conditioner in the bathroom. They only had a "conditioning shampoo." But overall, it was great!"

"I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Port Moresby, and The Stanley is my favourite. There are a lot of things to love. First if you like a hotel with a great pool, then the Stanley is for you. I’ve noticed that at other POM hotels the pools are often located very near the restaurant, which can make you feel a little self conscious about being in a bathing suit in front of all the diners. At the Stanley the pool is both large and is on the 5th floor, with its own dedicated space not anywhere near the main restaurant, which is on the ground floor. Another thing to love about the Stanley is its fabulous gym — lots of treadmills, bikes, weight machines, and a separate room where you can stretch. I also loved my room, which was large, quiet, and had a comfortable bed and good TV options. And I loved the plush carpeting in the hallways — really, really soft. Room service was good and fast. And the breakfast buffet was delicious. "
