"We used the free car park outside the town and walked up to the Hotel. no issues at all and gave us the opportunity to get our bearings. the Hotel is sited in the village square. The staff were welcoming, the bedroom was lovely and big overlooking the square. with the wooden shutters we had no issues with noise from the church bells. The breakfast was extensive and we could also order. cooked omelette and eggs. We had a drink before dinner overlooking the plains and mountains breathtaking. we choose to eat in the hotel and weren’t disappointed- we had a tomato soup and pasta dish to start( which could have served as a main) followed by veal tail and venison which were both equally delicious. we would certainly book again. "

"Our room was well designed and comfortable, four poster bed with a great private terrace and lovely views of the old town. The hotel itself is well located and appointed with a good bar and lovely breakfast room. Just an observation and not a criticism, the light fittings are positioned to low and there are some repairs and new furnishings required to bring things to the highest standard. "

"This property is amazing. Every day we discovered new and interesting things just strolling around the grounds. It was comfortable and quiet and felt perfectly safe and secure. Even the neighbor donkeys only said hello the first night. We did manage to lock ourselves out within the first hour we were on the property but the host was wonderful and came right back out to fix us. :) Would definitely stay here again and it made a great central location for us to explore the surrounding villages and countryside. "
