"This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). "I would agree with other reviews but to offer a different perspective, we chose this rental for two reasons, location & access for one of us using a wheelchair. Our experience of trying to book rentals has shown that people advertising rentals are generally scared of confirming accessibility because it is so personal and subjective. Generally, what is needed is photos of thresholds/steps/WCs etc for people to make their own mind up. We "

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. But care needs to be taken if turning left into it as its just after a bend, is quite a...
