"The room we had was clean, the bed was comfortable. I definitely recommend eating at their restaurant, it was excellent. We missed the included breakfast however they packed some pastries for us to eat in the car. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. "

"We stayed one night here en route to the Amalfi Coast. On arrival the reception area was messy and gave a poor first impression. There was plenty of parking and we were able to move our car to an area just outside our room which was handy for us. The room itself was very disappointing. The decor was dreadful and dated, poorly maintained and it really did need a renovation. The furniture was old and tatty and just dumped in there. There were no glasses, very small towels, very lumpy fibre filled...

"Can’t say enough about this oasis of a property and the property owners! Sara was super responsive and a joy to get to know while we stayed here. The home is very clean and well-maintained- very comfortable. We rented the main house which the upper level apartment for a very reasonable cost. If the whole home is rented, 8 people can stay here very comfortably. Close to grocery stores and train stations too. Would absolutely stay here again!"

(Some concrete information on the residence website would be helpful to those WITHOUT cars: - The train station is a solid 15-18 minute brisk WALK from the residence. Taxis/Uber NOT AVAILABLE in this area. - The concierge was VERY HELPFUL is dropping us to the station in the early morning (we had TWO full bags). - Excellent train service to Roma Termini. (Last trains about 9 PM so be careful if you plan to stay late night in Rome, huh!) "

"I was worried initially about staying due to some of the reviews, but I have to say my experience has been exceptional. I took my girlfriend away for her birthday and it was perfect for what I was looking for. Great price, lovely spacious room, own bathroom and shared kitchen facilities. Checking in was so easy as host waited up for us even after our flight was delayed and showed us around the accommodation. Great balcony with lovely views of surrounding area. "Ive stayed in this hotel a couple of times. The staff are all very kind and speak English. The hotel is basically on the beach/marina. Very nice little town. The train station is 3 minute walk and the train to Rome is only 4 Euro. This little town has few tourist so its not very busy. It is about a 1/2 mile to the Sicilian American WWIi cemetary, very nice part of history. "
