Holiday Home 'Cechin' with Mountain View, Private Garden and Balcony

The hut, located at about 600 m.s.l.m. at the end of a steep, cemented road (about 700 meters with an initial drainage channel, a minimum of familiarity with driving in the mountains and checking access in case of a very low car is required), is a facility guarantees relaxation, privacy and ease of movement. In fact, it is located 5 min by car from Tione di Trento.
From there, in less than an hour you can reach the main Trentino resorts: Pinzolo/Madonna di Campiglio - Brenta Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, lakes Tenno, Molveno, Garda and Idro.
The lodge is on 2 levels. On the ground floor is the kitchen (with gas stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment) and dining room. Above, a double room with a single bed; another room with single beds. Also on the 2nd floor is the bathroom, equipped with shower stall, bidet, sink, and toilet.

Staying in the lodge requires the willingness to do without some amenities.
In fact, the house's electricity is provided by an island photovoltaic system with a storage battery. Therefore, the use of large and small appliances (e.g., hair dryer, TV...) is not allowed. You should pay attention to consumption, especially during bad weather. In fact, in these situations there is less or no recharging of batteries.
The domestic water supply is from spring and not from public aqueduct, so the water is not potable. Domestic hot water can be obtained from a wood-burning stove with a storage boiler. From the time it is turned on, you have hot water available in about 50 min.
In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a path and the occasional passage of some hikers is possible.
For warmth on cool early/late season evenings you can use the stove and fireplace.

Our stay in the Baita Chechin
The house is beautiful and situated very well. Everything was just fine. I can definetly recommend it for a hiking week or similar. Note: As the house is built in a very traditional way it would be perfect if the outdoor table and chairs are wooden or stone as well. The plastics just dont fit to the character of the house. But this is just a proposal and not a critic at all.
