"The Hotel was great. Nice cafe for snacks and we ate in the restaurant in the evening and really enjoyed the food and the staff were attentive. Only complaint I had a stater my wife didn’t. My starter came (very nice) but my wife’s main came before I had finished my starter, so I was eating my main after. Great I could park my motorcycle right outside the hotel. "

Annoyingly, the bar wasn't open in the afternoon and we noticed quite a number of people waiting when it did open. Strangely, the bar is not accessible through the hotel when the restaurant is closed, needing to walk around the front to get to. There must have been a large party booked in to the restaurant as it was full immediately after it opened so we had to wait an hour and...

"A nice place to stay. It is about ten minutes walk from the centre, in a modern neighbourhood. There are local buses."

"Check in was excellent. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Room was good but the bathroom was a weird design. Breakfast was ok. Service was good and very friendly. Hotel was well situated. Plenty of parking behind but you have to navigate some one way streets. You can walk into town in about 15 minutes downhill. 20 minutes back up."

"Could not access property upon arrival. supposed to have staff at front desk for check-in from 1 - 5. Arrived 1:30, no one on duty, no one answered intercom by front door. Finally got response an hour later. No one actually on duty the whole two days we were there. WiFi goes down at least twice per day, sometimes for hours while we ry to contact someone to fix it. "A good place to stay for one night en route to Santander. It is very central. The room is small, so we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than one night. The shower is extremely (too) powerful and flooded the floor. One of the bath towels looked as though it hadn't been washed as it had marks on it and there was a bit of debris and some dust under the bed, which was disappointing. Apart from that, we would recommend for a cheap place to stay. There is an underground car park very close but it...

"It's very difficult to know how to rate this hotel. A beautiful old inn set in a stunning location. A few irritations though, made what could have been a fabulous experience into an expensive let down. Over 300 euros for dinner bed and breakfast warrants more personal care and attention. After driving up a very narrow track you arrive at the car park. Press the button on a large gate, not a word of welcome on the intercom. Gate opens and off you and your baggage trek, down 42 steep cobbled...
