"It’s a beautiful place and very clean. We loved EVERYTHING except for the roads and steps. It’s hard to find. Parking is tight with lots of steps to get in and around the house. It’s a great view though! "

Maria had forwarded a video of how to get to the property, unfortunately as we were coming from the North our Sat nav took us a different route which was along a v narrow bridge over a river. The property is at the end of a v steep road 1/10. We had to drive very slowly and I feel I confident drivers would find this hard. The property was exactly as we had seen online. "We had an amazing holiday here. The pool is huge and the gardens are beautiful with lots of shaded areas to sit and eat. Carmen was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and gave us all the privacy we needed - the perfect host. A thoroughly relaxing time and a great location for exploring nearby towns like Braga, Aveiro and Porto. A wonderful place to stay!"

"The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience.
