" If you are visiting Geneva, but would like to stay in the outskirts, this is def the place to go! It is an hour away on the bus. There is the local tpg bus system that runs everyday. It is right around the corner. The area is very quiet and has all the basic amenities needed. It was perfect for a group of 5! "

"This is a really well-managed hotel/apartment. The apartment is super spacious, beds are super comfortable, balcony huge, and cupboards are well stocked with crockery and essentials, if you decide to prepare small meals/snacks. On the day of Arrival we had a difficult Day because our GPS failed and we couldn't locate the somewhat remote location. "When we arrived to check in we were rushed. The guy managing the place told us he had left the key to our room in the door. When we made it to our room it looked nothing like the pictures, more like a cheap cabin on a lake. It was also freezing in the room. It was like 30 degrees Fahrenheit and no heat had been turned on. "Dark and depressing, everything is brown, very little natural light, clean but very tired and very basic. This is not a Hotel, you have to make your own beds, staff unhelpful when we needed to move rooms because of the barking dog next door …. we asked if they could help move the linen and were told by them that that wasn’t there job why should they do it??? Maybe a misunderstanding as i thought we were booking a hotel room this feels more like a hostel ….. "

"Chalet was perfect for family of 4, and the swimming pool a bonus for the kids. Ski bus stop was very close, and its a beautiful area. On the listing the map shows the location as Les Esserts which was wrong - however in the end we were glad we were down in the valley on the outskirts of Morillon. In the mornings we got the ski bus to the telecabine, and after skiing generally walked back to the chalet which took about 15 mins. "Upon arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The private underground parking was great for ease of unloading and accessing the apartment. Whilst the apartment was tidy, we found chewing gum on one of the chairs and the furniture was far from comfortable to sit on - although fine if you are just using it for short periods eating. "Great location in a lovely village. Perfect for people with young children as the nursery slopes are right outside. Apartment had everything we needed. Check in was easy and quick. I'd recommend to call in advance and say if you need cot/towels/sheets as I didn't do this and had to wait a short while for these to be prepared. Amazing hostel

"Amazing hostel in Geneva, I was a little skeptical as everywhere I looked for a place to stay in Geneva was really expensive and I ended up going for this hostel and I’m so glad I did. The area was perfect a short and very scenic walk by the river to the old town and close to the bus stop that can take you to and from the airport. The staff were a highlight in this hostel, especially the gentleman on reception (I sadly did not catch his name) who seen I had sunburn on my face on the last night of my stay and gave me some of his own cream for the night, he is a credit to the team and went above and beyond. The breakfast was decent and they also had food on an evening in the restaurant available to purchase and pasta available at reception 24/7. The beds were comfortable the only issue I had was the mattress protector on my bed was very loud making crinkle noises every time I moved but I think this was only my bed as I didn’t hear anyone else’s! Other than that it was very comfortable and everyone in the hostel was friendly. I would love to see some activities hosted there for solo travellers to meet others this would be a great addition. All in all I would definitely recommend this hostel and can’t wait to stay here again!"
