" 5 Stars – A Wonderful Stay! We had a wonderful stay at the Stone Hearth Inn and Eatery. My son had programs at Vermont Academy, and this spot was perfect—close to everything nearby, including a great bar just down the street. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything about our experience was easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!"

Friends' Family ski trip!

"This house was so lovely for a ski weekend with friends and our families. The house is very well stocked with basic needs and coffee. I LOVED that everything was labeled to help us know what to do, what to not touch and how to work things! Such a unique historic house to stay in that we pass all the time when heading to ski! Great location for an easy 20 minute to Okemo and convenient store across the street! Our families really loved being able to spend time together in this house. "

Charming Chester Farmhouse – peaceful and close to everything!

"I picked this property mainly because of the town and cost. I traveled with family as my son in laws band played two shows in VT.The house went above expectations. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. It was fun to look at all the artwork and check out the many books.I highly recommend and would definitely book again.The "

Riverfront, family fun, amazing rec room, close to Magic & Okemo

Wonderful Family Weekend

"We had a fantastic stay. Sarah was a gracious host, who was easy to communicate with. The house was much larger than we expected. There was more than enough room for us (four adults and two kids). We spent hours running around the turf room, playing soccer and hanging in the living room off of it, to burn off the rest of our energy after skiing. We could not have asked for a better space and look forward to making more family memories here in the future!"

Cozy and Comfortable

"We stayed for 20 days in January to enjoy skiing at Okemo, which was a short trip from the Carriage House. It was better than described on the listing with more amenities than expected. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking and baking-except for the groceries. The modern appliances and crockpot allowed me to cook with ease. Having a washer/dryer on site, as well as detergent, was very convenient. Hosts Jennifer and Michael provide a detailed description of how everything works in the house and various things to do in the area. Pre-stay communication was very helpful in planning our stay and knowing what to pack. Definitely will stay here again! "

Sage House at Camp Greenwood Vermont with Sauna

Cozy Cabin Getaway

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Sage House!! The tiny home was everything we needed for a short weekend getaway! We met the owner when we first got there and he was very friendly and welcoming! We stayed with our 6 month old Rotweiller puppy. She really enjoyed exploring the property and running through the snow. We were also able to enjoy the sauna on property which was a nice relaxing touch. The sleeping loft was very cozy with a very comfortable mattress. Although we did not utilize the kitchen to its fullest extent, it was well equipped with everything you would need to make a meal. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and added an additional heat source! We did get about 6-12 inches of snow overnight during our stay, but snow removal was done before we even woke up to start our day! It was the perfect home away from home! We would love to stay again in the future!!"

"We had a very nice stay here in Chester, with relatively easy access to Okemo and other nearby resorts. The historic nature of the house is lovely and well maintained. Kitchen is well appointed and easy to use, and internet / tv works great. Do be aware that the stairs to the second floor (where all beds are) are narrow and steep and the second floor ceilings are quite low for taller guests. "
