It’s on the tram line to the island, but far enough away to offer food options and shopping. Pay attention to your email if you’re staying there. "B&B hotel is near a busy road. However, once the door is closed, we could not hear the noise from the cars. The hotel is in front of a shopping centre, which is very convenient for buying breakfast on the go (as we did). There is no restaurant nearby but, by car, St Malo city centre is only few minutes away"
