"We had an excellent week in France. Visiting Lille and travelling to Ypres in Belgium. The house was excellent, warm and cosy. Well placed for sight seeing and shopping. "La maison est grande et confortable : 4 chambres, un grand salon-salle à manger, une cuisine bien équipée, deux salles de bains, un jacuzzi etc. Dans une rue calme, elle est idéalement située pour visiter l'agglomération (Lille, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Belgique). C'est une maison très bien adaptée pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis. Attention toutefois aux escaliers qui sont assez raides, et qui peuvent causer des difficultés aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Je recommande vivement cette maison."

"Edwige (patronne) adorable disponible et serviable mais je pense endroit mal adapté pour 14 personnes (14 sportifs) . Ballon insuffisant (eau chaude très vite épuisé) et salle de convivialité (salon cuisine) un peu petite. à mon avis mieux adapté pour maximum 8 personnes. mais pas de regret tout de même car très bien accueilli ."

"The property was absolutely perfect for our needs. Lots of first class bedrooms and ensuites. large clean kitchen and dining table made entertaining easy. Bar area was great too. Classy restaurant next door serves excellent food and the wine list is brilliant."

"Description was accurate except for the address. Address was the owner's residence not the advertised place. Strong smell of vanilla when we arrived but it did not seem to be covering anything in particular. We arrived late in the evening but the instructions were otherwise complete. The property description was accurate as well. We would stay again."

"This was an ideal location for our exploration of this corner of Belgium and also NE France. We were delighted with the house and the facilities provided and could not have asked for more. Welcomed by Marc, the host who showed us around and had some lovely suggestions of places to visit and eat, we then spent our week criss-crossing the region and enjoying everyday. So much to see and do - we didn't manage it all but that just gives us the opportunity to go back again."

Mit dem Fahrrad lässt sich die ganze Umgebung gut erkunden. Auch mit dem Auto ist man unter einer Stunde an der Küste, in Brügge usw.."

"The house is extremely well equipped and has a lovely garden with views over the fields. The pool and cinema room were a bonus. It’s only a short drive into the centre of Lille and convenient to explore the surrounding area but we really enjoyed the rural location."

"Vi havde nogle gode dage i huset men man skal vide at der er meget stejle trapper (uden gelænder) til 1. og 2. sal så man skal ikke være dårligt gående. Der er ikke meget at se i området men man kan sagtens tage en fin vandretur langs vandet ind til den gamle bydel."

"The location was very good 👍 close to the EUROSTAR, the reception were accommodating and ensures safety of goods left in the luggage area 👍 the room was well equipped with tea, coffee, kettle 😀 and all the equipment to make you feel at home. Well laid out as well. And everything worked. Reception were very kind, patient, helpful, smile all the time and humble. Thanks for a lovely time in Lille "
