"The house was exactly as the photos show - well equipped, clean and comfortable with a view over the marina and the river. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits."

"House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. "Very cozy and beautiful country setting with remarkable gardens. We took many meals from the on-site restaurant (we were without a car), and the food was outstanding. I recommend having a vehicle for supplies and activities unless you’re looking for a quiet retreat in the countryside. "

"Very handy location for the conference centre and a nice three bed house. We had a comfortable stay and would come again. We did have some issues with check in (needed to call to get the key box code as hadn't received it when we arrived) and the sofa bed was broken (there was a thin roll out mattress instead - but not what we were expecting) but the management team did respond to calls, and to messages (if less quickly)."

"The property was clean and adequate for our needs for 2 nights but we felt that some updating and repairs to the property were required. The major problem was the awful noise in the evenings from some of the neighbors and children which made it impossible to sit outside. No consideration for others until 11pm. I'm sorry to say we won't be using this property again."
