"Th cabin itself is adorable. Nice location, but not too close to the water. Some amenities do not function as well as may be assumed. For example, the door to the sauna does not fully close from the inside. Overall the sauna is very below average. Also, the shower often does not have hot water. This is something to look out for. On the other hand, the fireplace is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The terrace is also beautiful - we had a lovely time drinking coffee out there...

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm.
