"Our hosts were absolutely fabulous. So kind and helpful. Very informative about the area. They gave many options for breakfast and all of what we had was yummy. Would definitely reccomend staying. Note though, there are 80 steps to walk up with your luggage, that was difficult, but our host graciously helped us down on the way out!. "

"This is essentially an apartment that has been converted into 3 bedrooms with individual ensuites a shared kitchen area, very clean but very noisy, The heating wasn’t on, the water was turned off in the early hours so hand washing after ablutions wasn’t available. First night the couple in the room next to me got very loudly amorous x 4 ( more energy than I have). Night 2 showers & toilets and neighbours on the above floors arguing. "We really liked this location and were very happy when we arrived. It’s nestled in the historic part of town within the walls of the original structures on top of the hill. The unit is small but comfortable and well laid-out. There’s a very nice and good size terrace with a very nice view. The full kitchen includes cabinets, range/oven, fridge, and a nice size table with chairs. Good shower. Large TV. Counter space. Plugs where you need them. "Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology...
