"A wonderful property and lovely hosts. Elizabeth and Jean-Christian went out of their way to welcome us. A great selection of maps and tourist information on hand for your days out. The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. We would heartily recommend to other families. We expect we will visit again!"

"Overall a great stay. Just what we needed for a week of doing nothing in a cosy, beautiful big house. If you want to get away from reality for a while this is the place. House was a perfect size for me and my family! We stayed here for Christmas and it is just what we wanted. "A beautiful property with a big outdoor space. A 20-30min drive will get you to plenty of lovely walks and sites- rivers, monasteries, beaches, animal parks. There’s a farm opposite which our children enjoyed watching the tractors come and go and the cows in the fields. Supermarket is a 10min drive. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and equipment. The housekeeper meet us on arrival and at departure and there was speedy communication when we had a power cut. A lovely stay enjoyed by all"

"Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the big pool. Kate was a lovely, helpful host. All in all a great stay! "

"This is a lovely house and large enough for extended family. great walled garden for kids and dogs. Nice peaceful area and lots of space inside. Great conservator with table. Possibly some areas need a little updating (electrics and some furniture). Also somewhere to keep clothes needed in downstairs bedroom. Info on site mostly okay but phone number for host is missing a number and she doesn't seem to get messages through VRBO but will reply to texts. Very helpful once she knows you are asking"
