"We had the most wonderful stay at Brownstown Lodge. We were a family of 7 adults and this was our first trip to Ireland. We wanted a home base to make day trips from and Brownstown Lodge was absolutely perfect for us! the house is lovely, the property so peaceful, the view perfection. "We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.)...

"We had a great stay at Nephin View. The house is comfortable and clean. It had plenty of room for the 5 adults in our group. It is located in a scenic location with nice views out the windows and even sheep grazing quietly in the front yard. The owner was flexible with our check-in time and responsive to the questions we sent to him by text. We made use of the house's large and well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend staying here when in County Mayo."
