Kitchen: Breakfast Area, Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Freezer, Washing Machine. Electric central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Balcony and furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. . Crafted to look like a boat by the owner, who lives in the adjoining house, this unique holiday property is only 60 yards from the beach. Forming the ’bow’ of the boat, its features such as portholes, curved wall in the entrance/dining area and boat railings on the balcony all add to the feeling of being on the sea.
The pebble and sandy beach, is protected by rock islands and children will enjoy the rock pools and fishing. It is a perfect beach for walking to Bognor Regis, and is dog friendly all year round.
Middleton-on-Sea has a few pubs, restaurants and village shops. With Bognor and Littlehampton being a short drive away, there are more selections of eateries and shops.
It is a perfect base for a couple or a small family to enjoy a beach holiday, or visit nearby historic villages, such as Arundel with its castle, Wetlands Birds Trust and its superb choice of eateries. Close by to Chichester and its Festival Theatre, Goodwood, Fontwell, Witterings, Midhurst and the South Downs. The property is a drive, or train ride from Portsmouth, with its array of shops, day trips to the Isle of Wight or Brighton, with its Theatre and famous “The Lanes” shops. It is also close to many National Trust Homes, such as Stansted Park, Goodwood House, East Dean and many more. Can be booked with ref: W44272 to accommodate up to 6 guests. This was our second family holiday at The Bow.
This was our second family holiday at The Bow. It's got a wonderful location, quite literally a stone's throw from the beach, which is always relatively quiet compared to other nearby beaches. Easy travel to other points of interest eg Brighton, Portsmouth etc. Some really nice and good price places to eat in the immediate vicinity, and slightly further afield. Great place to just kick back and relax. We love it, and are loathe to leave at the end of our holiday.

What a lovely place to stay.
What a lovely place to stay. From the very generous welcome gifts, to the fantastic location and unique property we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Everything from the beds to the sofa were very comfortable. The location is perfect, just a few seconds from the beach. Everywhere is very dog friendly including the local pubs, cafes and beach. The owners are just next door if needed, but do not intrude on your holiday. We would love to return to this little gem!

Well located for us as we don't like using the car on holiday.
Well located for us as we don't like using the car on holiday. The property is located on the local bus route to Bognor Regis and once there you can get most places on public transport. There were 3 pubs within easy walking distance. Off road parking was good (Husband is fussy about were he leaves his car). Kitchen equipment was also good. Good quality Saucepans (they are so often not good in holiday cottages). As others have mentioned the bathroom is a bit wee but my 6'4" husband managed fine! Beach is lovely, handy local shop and off licence. Balcony nice for tea and toast in the morning.
