"Very cute. Clean. Great location for us. Very close to all wedding venues and activities. The twin beds were extremely uncomfortable for adults. Mattresses very thin. The only other thing was the smell of the water. "

"Owner really takes care of this property. In extremely well decorated interior with newer style appliances. Remote control ceiling fans and the air conditioner works really well. The bathrooms were clean and up-to-date with their fixtures and showers. Our niece was getting married the weekend we stayed and it was so convenient for the venue; less than a quarter mile away. This property is a great setting for a large gathering, party or family reunion."

"We wish we had booked more time to stay in this little piece of heaven! Marcus was super accommodating and the place was exquisite with everything we needed. There is a resident black cat on the property (who we called Pantera, supposedly male) who was very affectionate and seemingly a protector of us, we will miss him dearly. The river is cold and beautiful, refreshing on a sunny day, the trees and the acorns dropping at all times are an environment we felt comfortable and at peace in. We built...

"This charming home in the heart of Abita Springs is absolutely perfect. Likewise, Rhonda, our considerate host, offered ideas of things to do in and around Abita. The house was perfectly furnished, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen and baths. When the description reads that the Tammany Trail is across the street, it is literally right there in walking distance. "If you’re looking for a place where you can stay on property the entire time and not see another person the entire stay, OR a place to fill your stay with all the activities you can fit in, this fits the bill. This cabin is our favorite getaway spot and this was our fifth time here. Bill and Karen are the best hosts, and communication with them is so easy. We always come away from our stay relaxed and recharged, and are already ready to come back!"
