Chalet W/Studio in Bönigen by Interlaken on Lake Brienz

This bright sunny studio apartment is full of swiss charm & modern conveniences. It was built as part of our single family home in 2006. Has its own separate entrance, a large terrace with lake & mountain views. This quiet location is just a minute walk to the crystal blue waters of Lake Brienz. Our backyard mountains offer great hiking & bike trails. The picturesque town of Boenigen is conveniently located just 3km from Interlaken and only 20 km to Grindelwald and the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley for great hiking and skiing in the winter.

The Studio has a full kitchen, queen bed & sofa. A modern bathroom w/shower, flat screen TV/Radio/DVD & Wireless Internet.
Utility charges, bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are included in price. Covered parking is also available.

Great Place!
Couldn't ask for a better place or a better host. Cindy's from San Diego so English is not a concern. She is there if you need her and not there when you don't. The place is very clean, nice kitchenette, HEATED BATHROOM FLOOR, beautiful private terrace to enjoy a meal and/or drink and great views of the lake an mountains. You're not in Interlaken, but you're close enough to get there by bus or bike. We rented a car, which they have a space in the carport to keep the car. We look forward to going back.

Wir haben uns in Böningen sehr wohl gefühlt. Cindy ist sehr nett und offen für den Gast. Der See ist gleich in der Nähe. Bus und Bahnverbindung zu den Ausflugszielen ein Traum.

Beautiful Bonigen
What a magnificent location!! The studio flat was just metres away from the stunning lake which was perfect for having a dip after a hot day walking in the region. The bus stop was just a 5 minute walk away, which connected to the Interlaken train connections. There was also the option of taking a boat trip on Lake Brienzersee, with the jetty being a 10-15 mins walk. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard and the shower was heaven!! We knew that Switzerland is expensive to eat out so we appreciated the hob and microwave oven/grill to cook food. Again, the accommodation is faultless and equipped with everything you needed. Cindy was so welcoming and from the moment we arrived, she was available to make our stay comfortable and give valuable advice about the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and consider it to be one of the most beautiful locations.

Traumhaftes Chalet
Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Für 2 Personen ist die Größe völlig ausreichend und die Lage war top. Auf der Terrasse hatte man einen Blick auf den See mit den Bergen im Hintergrund und hinten raus hat man die Berge gesehen und die Kuhglocken gehört. Sehr romantisch. Mit dem Bus hat man eine super Verbindung und ist schnell in Iseltwald oder Interlaken. Das Chalet ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieterin Cindy ist so freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben zuvor noch nie eine so wundervolle Landschaft gesehen, die Wanderwege sind ein Traum! Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und auch gerne wieder in das Chalet!

super schönes Reiseziel
Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man hat alles, was man braucht und die Lage ist wirklich super. Auf der Terasse hat man einen schönen Berg- und Seeblick und vor allem ganz viel Ruhe und Natur! In einer Minute am See, in wenigen Minuten bei verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und mit dem Auto auch super angebunden. Wir wurden bereits bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich empfangen und haben einige super Tipps für Ausflüge bekommen. Würden wir immer wieder hin!

World Class
Cindy's place is charming, updated and has a nice layout. The view from the patio is world class with a views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The cottage is close to town and public transportation passes are provided. Cindy is very organized, sent a great video for directions to the cottage and was beautifully set up for our visit upon arrival. We look forward to a future visit.

Perfect Switzerland Getaway!
This property is right on Bönigen See (lake), a beautiful, picturesque view of Switzerland’s mountains. Close to Jungfrau Region which is absolutely amazing. Cindy’s place is also sparkling clean! Highly recommend!

Die Darstellung im Internet ist 100% richtig. Es handelt sich um ein kleines Studio: Wohnen/Schlafen/Kochen, dazu ein komfortables Bad und eine große Terrasse. Zugang direkt vom Garten. Die Betten sind bequem, die Ausstattung ist reichlich. Warmwasser stets parat. Gastgeber ist freundlich und in der Abrechnung überaus korrekt. Danke für alles! We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. It’s a cozy place in the middle of all the hiking we wanted to do in the Interlaken area. The rental was quiet and relaxing. We were able to cook meals with no trouble. Owner was perfect in communication and directions. 5 stars all the way!

A Wonderful 6 night stay!
We were so blessed to find Cindy and this wonderful location. Our week in the Interlaken area was amazing. Bonigan is a great location, on beautiful Lake Brienz and with easy links to Interlaken Ost. We were in Europe for three weeks and this was clearly the highlight of our trip. Cindy was our family away from home. She graciously advised us about what to see and how to do it! We took the train to Montreaux and Lake Geneva via the Golden Pass Scenic train ...it was so beautiful, the rest of our stay we spent in the Alps and Lake Brienz. The studio was a great place to come home to, relaxing and fully equipped for all our needs. We purchased a Swiss Rail Pass and it made our travels so easy. Thank you, Cindy and Sam, for being such a joy to be with! We would recommend this home to anyone coming to the Interlaken area and would love to return one day.

Great Place, Amazing Views and Excellent Host!
We had a great 3 night stay here in the heart of Interlaken. The chalet was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed and more. It was a treat to wake up with an amazing view of the mountains and being just behind the beautiful Lake Brienz. Cindy was a very friendly and welcoming host offering lots of recommendations such as our trips to Harder Kulm and Jungfraujoch, that both blew our minds! Good shops nearby for food and good transport links into Interlaken Ost. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again. Jerry and Adam from the UK.

Perfect location with amazing view
Wish we would have stayed longer at Cindy & Sam's studio! Super cozy, clean, with lake & mountain view plus Bonigen is SO much better than Interlaken! Hearing the cows bells every evening and watching the chickens running around in the back pasture was an extra treat. Cindy was very helpful helping us plan our days and gave us a 2 for 1 ticket to Jungfrau. Bus stops are down the road and easy access to train station and all sites. Hope to return one day soon...thanks Cindy!
