Lovely rural and authentic Swedish private eco-hotel in the woods by the lakes, with a great history, the owners reinvented it with sustainability-focused ethos. You can hire a boat to enjoy fishing on the lakes, or go hiking along the Wilderness trail around the property in pine woods, which was magical."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely, very comfortable house and its beautiful surroundings: the peace and quiet, our swims in the lake (not cold at all at this time of year), the rowing boat, our visits to Öland and Kalmar... It has been hard to tear ourselves away! The kitchen is perfectly equipped (literally everything is thought of), the whole house very well kept and beautifully decorated with work by the lady of the house. There are breathtaking views from the lake everywhere:...

"Nice small and cheap. Perfect for a night if you are on your way to/from Kostaboda or taking the ferry from Oskarshamn. Breakfast was added for 50 SEK, simply but nice. Not if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences though. However there was access to a kitchen with fridge so extra budget friendly if you are bringing your own food. And dog friendly! Quite a small town so if you arriving in the evening don't expect anything within walking distance to be open. We found a pizzeria a 10min...
