A special thank you to the receptionist (I think his name is Punak) for his kindness when I needed it most following a long flight and a cancellation to my connecting flight, I really appreciate it. The only recommendation I would make is to add international channels as the TV is only in German - for an International hotel by the airport, it woukd benefit many others."

My only issue was opening the shower very difficult and hard I almost couldn’t take a shower, I was gonna take a bath and I couldn’t the water kept going it didn’t stay . "The Niu is conveniently close to DUS. It cost 17 Euros to get there by taxi from the airport. Check-in was quick and easy, although be aware that you need to pay a city fee separately from the cost of the hotel room. The person tending the bar was very friendly and spoke perfect German and English. Flammkuchen and goulash are available 24/7, so no need to go hungry. While somewhat spartan, rooms were clean, interestingly decorated, and provided some information about visiting Düsseldorf. The built-in Bluetooth speaker was a fun perk. Breakfast was a typical satisfying European buffet with lots of options. "
