"Absolutely wonderful resort in the middle of nature. The architecture of the place does not disturb the original jungle. The distribution of each room, house, and lodge is so well done that you feel alone in the jungle. The beaches and common areas are beautiful, and the staff is very kind and attentive. Additionally, the supermarket inside the resort offers a great variety, reasonable prices, and everything you need to cook your meal if you rent one of the houses. Excellent choice for a different vacation with the family. "

"The view from the house is breathtaking! We were so impressed with all the extras that were available and Included, paddle boards, kayaks, water shoes, hiking boots, snorkels and masks, all the kitchen extras including coffee, and cooking spices, even coconut oil to help protect against the no-see-ums. Pick up from Bocas was so well arranged, and very convenient, and they gave a wonderful tour of the house to get you settled. We definitely took advantage of the chef services which were delicious! We had an in home massage that was so relaxing right on the front deck with the amazing afternoon breeze that comes in everyday.Some of the best snorkeling right off the deck!! So good we didn’t even go diving on this trip. We had one very overcast night, and we could swim and see the bioluminescent right in front of the house. The hiking trails in the back of the house are phenomenal! We saw several sloths and howler monkeys. Every morning we got a glimpse of dolphins commuting near by and green parrots squawking by as they leave their nesting areas. Access to use Papa Jose/boat captain was wonderful! Not only is it incredibly convenient, takes away any stress, but he is great company as well! Highly recommend the chocolate tour, and the bat cave tour! "

"My favorite place of the entire trip!! Great hosts and excellent chef. Soooo peaceful and very romantic in a rustic sense. The wonderful lodge-like structure is somewhat secluded on an island near Bocas Del Toro, It is only accessible by boat and most tours will pick you up at their dock. The English-speaking owner can help arrange this. They have a sweet dog that bonds quickly to guests, but is not intrusive. Love this place!!!"

"It was awesome from the minute I arrived. Family owned business that went out of their way to ensure every detail was covered. Helped book excursions, gave suggestions on things to do. The food was incredible, everything I had and I had at least 2 meals there a day was delicious. The waitresses were friendly and responsive The bartenders were all so much fun with great personalities. Gave average rating on noise but learned turn AC on and that drowned it out. "

"Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. We booked a day tour of the area with the hotel in the third day, however it was just the three of us so they transfered us to another company they worked with. Despite the reviews about the sound/music from Bank Town, it wasn't a problem and we never used the provided ear plugs. Overall, we had a very relaxing and lovely time at Eclipse del Mar! "
