"I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day."

"My Wife and I took a long weekend up to the sandstone sanctuary, we appreciated having no TV and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the woods surrounding us with the occasional Frank Sinatra song on the bluetooth record player. The house was super cozy and had everything you need for cooking and most importantly relaxing. Justine was super friendly and made sure we knew she was only a phone call away! Loved this place and wish we could give a million stars! Will be visiting again!"

"We had an amazing stay at this house! I stayed here with three friends and the house was absolutely perfect for us. It was spotless when we arrived, and we immediately fell in love with the decor — it’s even better than the photos. The location was great too, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. I did not bring my dog, but the fenced in yard would have been perfect for her! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable...

"Early April is just at the cusp of spring in this area. There were lots of people heading to the state park on Saturday, despite the damp weather. We were visiting Penn State, which had lots of different events scheduled and enjoyed being close to campus ( 15 mins) but also miles away from the crowds with our two children and one dog.
