Lovely house and location
What a beautiful and peaceful house to return to at night. A sanctuary and so close to downtown. The house was extremely clean, spacious and lacked in nothing. It was a very comfortable stay and I slept so well. I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful relaxation
Everything was great. Space was perfect for a group of 7 adults. Dining room table and the large counter was perfect for our vision of a home cooked birthday meal. Will be back in the future.

Low country stay
This house is exactly as it is listed. The host has added special touches to make you feel welcome such as a doggie dish and treats, some spices and detergent plus shower accessories in all bathrooms.I texted Amy several times and she was always quick to respond and very helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay, visited Hilton Head and Savannah several times to take in the great restaurants and sights. Old Town is truly the best of Low Country living. I highly recommend The Confedrate House for your stay in Bluffton.

Lovely, cozy home, exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would absolutely stay there again. Only glitch was check in. We never received an email with check in instructions with directions on how to access the property. We needed to call VRBO who then put us in touch with someone able to help, but this was at 5:10, over an hour after the time we were told we would be able to check in.

Great House!
First, Any the host is amazing! Whatever question you have she gets right back to you! Awesome The house was clean, everything you need is provided. There were four of us that spent the night, but on Thanksgiving day, we had ten people for a few hours. With that being said, the house flows great. Not once did we feel like we were on top of each other. Oh, and the third bathroom is great; which I only found the night before we left! Hahaha. It’s in the other side of laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Screened Porch, Easy Access to Old Towne, Hilton Head and Bluffton
The house was a great place to stay, relax on the screened porch and drink our morning coffee. Were it not for commitments in the afternoons that we had to leave each day, cocktails on the porch would have also been in order. Our small dog enjoyed the immaculately kept front yard. The back of the lot is "natural" so better to keep kids and pets closer to the house and front yard. it was very welcoming with check-in snacks on the counter, coffee bar ready in case you need it and the kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, dish soap, counter cleaner, etc. Even the laundry room was stocked. In other VRBO's we had to make sure we had dishwashing/dishwasher supplies...not here. This place is very well thought through to not have the traveler worry about what they need to stay other than personal items and food.

Enjoyable and Relaxing Stay
We booked this house as it is close to Bluffton, pet friendly and it looked so inviting on the listing. The listing shows the property perfectly. The screened in porch was hard to leave each day and the front and side grounds were immaculately kept and very pretty. The host did an amazing job making sure all of the little things were ready.....fully stocked coffee bar, dish/dishwasher supplies, foil, zip locks, etc. The laundry room was also stocked with enough to get started if necessary. I brought all of those items with me and used from the home stock as well as my own. But the host's extra supplies have surely saved someone a trip to the store. The house was spotlessly clean - even the screened porch. We plan on staying here again as we will be frequent visitors to Bluffton

Great place to explore Bluffton
This is a great home to stay in for privacy and quiet while being centrally located. So close to Old Town and close to all things Bluffton. Very clean home and cozy beds!

Rustic location close to Old Bluffton town center
Rustic home with plenty of space for two of us and our dogs. Quick drive to the beaches. Plenty of great restaurants, so there is no need to cook.

Weekend Trip
First, I will say that I was hesitant to write this review, but I also feel honesty is important. The check in process was fantastic and all of our contact with the property management was great. However, the outside of the house needed ALOT of work. The grounds were dirty and so was the outside of the house. I am not saying messy I mean literally dirty. It looked like it hasn't been power washed in years. The tree in front of the house was growing over the roof and really needed to be clipped back. If the next guest only cares about the inside, this is the place for you, otherwise you should pass on this place.

Awesome hideaway retreat
I really enjoyed my stay here it was mostly private with a screen in porch, we spent most of our time outside. Very clean an neat. Our last day we seen a deer just slowly walking near the road, all around just a great place to relax an enjoy nature.

I read numerous 5 star reviews for this house before I booked and was a bit disappointed when I arrived. Although the house appeared to have been updated, it still felt worn. The swing on the porch needed to be cleaned before we could sit on it. The porch could have used some TLC. There was a hole in the wall in one of the bathrooms that was patched but not painted. The back yard was overgrown. We had a great time and the location was perfect for us.

Memorable stay
Nicely remodeled three bedroom. Floor was a little lumpy in spots but overall they did a nice job fixing it up. The backyard was a little spooky and we did see a few cockroaches flying around but except for lizards the inside was generally bug free. Nice screened in porch. Only complaint was the cost of the place doubles with fees thru Vrbo and if you want to be near Hilton Head you could probably find something much closer for a similar price. Overall a nice location near Old Town Bluffton

Family vacation
We had an amazing stay everything about the home was perfect for my family and I. The only thing we had a problem with was that we barely used the kitchen and we were staying for a week, but towards the end of the week we needed something and we found the dishwasher with most of the dishes inside of it. But other than that everything from the location to the house itself was amazing and we will definitely be back.
