Bright and airy garage apartment in a convenient location to Historic Bluffton. We were there as participants in an art show and cooked most meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Didn't really use the golf cart as it didn't feel safe.

My husband and I came to Bluffton to look around for a retirement home We choose Jays cottage because it was in the heart of Old Town and it looked amazing online We were so happy with our choice The cottage was so clean and bright and it had everything we needed and more Jay left a great welcome basket of wine and snacks which was so appreciated The cottage came with the use of a golf car which was awesome we took it to dinner every night and got to see the neighborhood without taking our big truck around We are looking forward to staying there again Thank you Jay you are an amazing host

This studio room was perfect for our weekend away. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The golf cart was a fun addition to the stay, and old town Bluffton was a three minute drive from the property. We would definitely rebook!

Great Location for Extended Stay!
We recently stayed 5 nights, utilizing the carriage house as homebase for our first trip to the Low Country. Unfortunately for us, we arrived just in time to experience hurricane Helene but Jay checked in with us and kept us informed with regards to the power / internet outages. The rest of our stay was perfect, and the one bedroom unit was the perfect size for the two of us. Because of Helene and a packed schedule visiting areas outside of Bluffton, we didn't utilize the golf cart but it was a nice option to have! The carriage house came well stocked with everything we needed, and we also enjoyed the extra gifts that we discovered upon check-in. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice with strong water pressure. Having access to a washer & dryer came in handy prior to departure. All in all, a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time staying here. We were in walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops but you can also take the golf cart. The place was very clean, nicely decorated and quiet.

The apartment and the outside area is wonderful! Very clean and functional. My only complaint is no one told us about the golf cart needing a battery and to use the other one there. It would have been nice to use the golf to go downtown and shop and eat.

Quick Weekend Getaway
This place was perfect was my wife and I to have a quick weekend away in Hilton Head! Old Town Blufton is beautiful and full of good food. Quick drive to Hilton Head Island as well. We will be back next summer!

Immaculate, convenient and totally enjoyable!
The carriage house was not only decorated beautifully, it was absolutely immaculate. The owners have thought of everything - extra towels, coffee supplies, household supplies, plenty of hangers, luggage racks - I could go on and on. The golf cart was also immaculate and SO convenient to have for downtown. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Little haven in bluffton
Our stay for a week was both comfortable and relaxing. Neighborhood is friendly and quiet.As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a gift certificate! Just a short two block walk or a golf cart ride away was restaurant row and boutiques. We walk a lot so we covered all of old town during our stay. Beautiful walkable village! The guest house was very clean not one thing was out of place. plenty of cookware and utensils for preparing a meal. Definitely a top pick if you plan on staying in bluffton !! Thank you!

We were really touched by the welcome card, the bottles of water, the bottle of wine, and the gift card for Corner Perk Coffee. We’ve been to Bluffton many times before and no-one has ever extended that level of warm welcome at a VRBO. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The room was quaint and comfortable but storage was a bit limited. We would recommend a portable luggage rack. Other than that we were extremely pleased with our stay. Thank you very much for your kindness. We sincerely appreciate it.

The carriage house is lovely and comfortable in a beautiful area of South Carolina. The location is within walking distance of many good restaurants. We especially enjoyed Alljoy donuts and Dough Boys Pizza. We loved sight seeing Old Town in the golf cart. We hope to come back again sometime!

Enjoyed a quick wedding weekend getaway. Only had a few hours to explore, but did so in style with the golf cart. The weather was amazing, so we enjoyed tooling around after our delicious breakfast at the Corner Perk cafe! Our first time in Bluffton was great and memorable- would love to come back when we have more time to explore. The carriage house was very clean, beautiful, many upgrades and the location was perfect.
