"I was moved to another room as the room I was in had terrible internet. I was most grateful for that. The only negative was that the blinds are very tatty and need to be repaired or new ones installed. Otherwise happy with my stay"

"We booked this hotel in very short order and were not disappointed. Once inside the gate it is an oasis of greenery and calm. It's quite a transition from wide open non-descript street to find yourself parking by huge rubber plants and beautiful established gardens. The house is incredible and super comfortable - our room was perfect and very big! "We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."

"Was slightly disappointed as the property wasn't as nice as I'd expected. It was comfortable enough but seemed a little tired. There was no hot water in the morning so had a luke-warm shower. Its very convenient to the airport, shops and restaurants. All amenities were provided in the room although I thought that the battered ironing board on display didn't do much for the decor."

"On short notice they had every in order to welcome me, great second floor room with a nice small balcony, wonderful aesthetic and professional and reliable service from our kind hosts, great fresh breakfast every single morning and met every adjustment or accommodation necessary. Felt safe and not crowded, great of a getaway for a couple, with the beach at a walkable short distance. "

"It was a great place to stay .We only spent one night but I wish we spent more .We arrived late close to 11 pm and somebody waited for us which was very nice .Room was very clean bed and towels were pure white, bathroom was super clean .There was even a pool that we could access form our room .Also there was a place to cook if you had a bigger family .Neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe at all times .
