Amazing Stay
We booked a last minute stay at the house when other vacation plans fell through. The location and house were great and allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Great for large group
Beautiful property! We enjoyed watching the deer that came to the meadow. Kids loved the pool. Stairs were a bit challenging for the elderly, but kids loved running up and down them.

Great Stay
Property is amazing. Lots of rooms, wonderful upgrades, and beautiful outdoor space. Straight 8 minute shot to Bear Chase. Want to go back in the summer so we can use the pool!

What a gem!
This house was fantastic! Beautiful setting, gorgeous interior, perfect for our group! Sadly, we had a few little hiccups with our stay (we kept losing power, and the stove/oven was broken)- but we still had a nice stay!

Big family stay.
PERFECT stay for a large family! 14 were in town for our brothers wedding in Round Hill. 2 full kitchen spaces with living room. A bathroom for every room plus powder room downstairs! I'm jealous of those staying during pool season! It was glorious!

Amazing location!
Amazing house and location. We had an amazing time with our childhood friends and our children. The house is well appointed and very family friendly with alarms on the doors for little ones, a great pool, and so many other features - highly recommend!

Amazing house with so much nearby!
The house was amazing and communication was super easy. The hosts even kept the pool heated for us which was a perfect bonus. The kitchen is well-stocked and there are lots of areas to relax throughout the house. Very close to hiking, breweries/wineries, etc. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Great getaway for multiple family holiday gathering. The property and home were perfect for 10 of us and our pups. Plenty of space inside and outside. A short drive to shopping and wineries. Very fun time in Bluemont.

NLA New Year’s Weekend
Our group of five couples enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farmhouse. We found the house to be very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook and prepare our New Year’s Eve dinner. The location was great for visiting some of the wineries and breweries in the area.

Perfect for group get away
House is perfect set up for larger groups. Nicely appointed kitchen (we are all really big cooks). Had a couple small hiccups which were no problem at all due to the response of the property managers. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect getaway!
Perfect house for a getaway with friends! Everyone had their own space and plenty of areas to gather and hang out. The location was perfect for our mid-summer getaway. Short drive to many rafting places that we enjoyed. Nice restaurants, brewery and wineries nearby! Can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time celebrating a milestone birthday surrounded by friends. The house was spacious and well equipped, located on a beautiful property with privacy and views, and close to several breweries, wineries, and dining options. It was perfect for a weekend getaway!

Beautiful house with lots of space - great views, close to wineries and breweries. Only suggestion would be to refinish stones around the pool - they get a bit slippery when wet. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for a backyard wedding
We hosted a wedding weekend at this property, and it was perfect. There is a large flat lawn that accommodated a tent, a dancefloor and plenty of seating for our small ceremony. The heated pool was a big hit too!

We hosted a 30 year high school reunion and the place was awesome. Very well laid out. The only suggestion that I would make is , if possible, switch the beds from queen to king to accommodate more people. Plenty of parking and a quiet neighborhood

Wonderful wedding venue
We hosted our wedding here and had a number of our out of town guests stay in the house. It was super convenient to have people stay on site and have the whole weekend to spend together and set up for the event. Leslie was very helpful and communicative throughout the process and we had an amazing time. Guests really appreciated having their own bathrooms and the third floor made the perfect getting ready area. I would 100% recommend as a diy venue!

Peaceful Comfort
This home provided the perfect setting for our extended family celebration of Retirement!! The outdoor pool, indoor pool table, comfortable furniture, comfortable beds, quiet setting, large yard with fire pit and roomy kitchen/dining made our stay such a relaxing and enjoyable one!! The only thing missing were umbrellas on the deck tables, to offer a little shade on a hot, sunny day by the pool. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic for large groups
This house was one of the best we've ever rented. We were 11 family members over three generations and had 3 young children. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom and the kids stayed together. Lots of living space, great kitchen, wonderful outdoors to run around, and plenty to do in the surrounding areas. It was winter so not pool time, but that would be a bonus in the summer. You couldn't do better if you want a retreat close to DC.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY
We rented the house for Memorial Day weekend for my husbands 50th Birthday! We had out of town friends and family stay the entire weekend and had a big party on Saturday with tons of games around the property, the awesome pool, and fire pit! The house itself is amazing, the property, the views, and the host were all just fabulous!! I CANNOT wait to do it again!!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway for Our Family
The number of communal spaces was awesome! The well-stocked kitchen and view from the huge windows was so pleasant! The pool was absolutely wonderful! Pool towels were provided. Plenty of TVs were available. The host and other staff were very responsive from booking to checking out. They even helped us with a flat tire. We are already planning another time to go back! Thank you!

Lovely property and attentive property manager
The property is beautiful and has everything we could need. We had a few minor issues (pool filter not working, some ants coming into the kitchen) but both were resolved quickly. My children had a great time in the heated pool and enjoyed seeing the rabbits and deer in the yard every day. We strongly recommend Bear Chase Brewery and Great Country Farms. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful
Perfect house for a large group. Clean and spacious. Each room has a bathroom and their own temp control. Lots of parking. Large backyard. The road is narrow and hilly so I would not recommend walking on it. The closest winery is about 1.5 miles and Bearchase is about 2.5 miles but across a very busy main road. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to rent again in the future.

Family get together
The house is very nice, spacious, well laid out, and all the bedrooms are fine. The pool was a real asset, as it was hot. Providing shade in the pool area would be good, but I am not sure how; the tables are built for umbrellas, but I imagine they've been destroyed by bad weather, and would be hard to keep available. Location felt secluded, and the huge back yard is great for throwing frisbees, footballs, baseballs, even short wedge shots. Nice hike nearby, cute town and family friendly farm, brewery.

Family Vacation
Perfect! The property could not have been better for our family of 8 adults and 2 young grandchildren! Great bedrooms, all with baths, a massive kitchen with gorgeous views into West Virginia and a heated pool! Great location to many wineries and breweries - Bear Chase being the favorite with views of the DC skyline - and within walking distance to the Appalachian Trail with fantastic views. We took Chris' recommendation on a local chef/restaurateur (Jason Lage) for a Birthday dinner celebration and had an experience of a lifetime - farm to table local foods professionally prepared in our kitchen by folks who have a true passion for what they do! It was truly a family get together that we will never forget - and everyone wants to do it again - and likely will.
