Great location
The cabin is in a good location close to downtown and dining. The outside amenities made the stay worthwhile but the cabin needs a little TLC.

Quick getaway
The house was more spacious than we expected. Very dog friendly. Fenced in front yard and they had dog bowls there already. Very quiet and peaceful. Gonna go back in the summer to enjoy the large creek behind the house more.

Photos of property are somewhat deceiving. House is somewhat old in need of repair and deep cleaning. Yard could use clean up also. Disappointing and over priced.

Come prepared to clean and learn that Vacasa thinks what is standard in a cabin.
The silverware was not clean. Likely that previous guests don’t know how to wash dishes. But clear that cleaning services don’t check. Had to wash the grease and food residue off the silverware container and the dust and grease off the dish drainer (had to wash in the shower because there was so much grime on it and in it). We arrived late, but had to clean the cheap plastic silver container and dish drainer so that we could get up in the morning to eat. When we turned on the shower to clean the dish drainer - a clump of hair and leaves came up out of the drain - they hadn’t been cleaned by the cleaning crew. Now on to what Vacasa considers extraordinary - matches or a lighter. This is a cabin with a wood burning fireplace and a fire pit. We knew to bring our own wood - but they told us that matches aren’t an “amenity” they consider needed. Let me repeat this - a wood burning fireplace and a fire pit. The sheets were cotton, but not soft and the kind that have one row of dark thread stitching. Not linens you would expect. Quite the contrast to the very luxe mattress. The couch has no support on one end - be careful and be prepared to dig yourself out of the hole. Horrible has one seat with jets, other broken. Vacasa doesn’t pay attention to anything in the properties they manage. Binder refers to gas logs/fireplace and a dishwasher. Neither in this property. Vacasa reps told us we lied about the documents and couldn’t respond before dark about “extras” like matches.

I do suggest driving a small suv or car thats not super low to the ground as the road is small and gravel. The cabin is wonderful. Its simple and I will be back. My kids and dog loved the place.

Anniversary Week
Property was far too remote for our taste and was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. Also, property needed a deep cleaning inside and outside especially. Floors were spongy in the bathroom and kitchen in several places and in need of repair. Kitchen floor was in need of replacement. Shower curtain liner was moldy and nasty, House seems moldy at times despite having a continuously running dehumidifier. Tv cable carrier is Dish and is terrible.

Disappointing
This cabins location was perfect, the outdoor atmosphere was beautiful, the hosts were accommodating. But the cabin itself lacks maintenance, it’s is very out of date and needs repairs. I have never had a more disappointing experience though VRBO, given that we paid almost $300 a night for this cabin. Upon arrival the yard is overgrown & we thought it was abandoned and we were at the wrong location. The front door was unlocked, which was slightly alarming. Maybe it’s because it is managed through a third party, but we will not recommend or return to this cabin.

Property not what was described
We arrived at the property and the front yard was not maintained. It actually looked abandoned. When we walked in the house there was a musky smell. The ad specifically advertised both k cup and a full coffee pot. We purchased k cup and had to buy more supplies as there was not Keurig. The ad also specifically advertised a hot tub. The hot tub did not get hot and we were not able to use it. I would not have gotten this as a weekend getaway had the ad spoke truthfully of the property. My wife emailed VRBO with no response. We stayed only 12 hours rather than the entire weekend because we were uncomfortable.

I would recommend this rental.
My only complaint, one of the reasons we rented this particular property was for the hot tub. When we got there, the water was too low for the pump to run. We had to fill the tub w pots from the kitchen because the water hose was not accessible.

Perfect cabin near the stream
This place was perfect, loved the hot tub and the deck by the stream as it was a great place for us and our dog to enjoy the backyard freely. The dumpster parked out front was our only issue as it made it difficult to turn around to get back out the driveway but I assume that is temporary. Otherwise, awesome cabin. We will be back after the holidays! :)

Nice stay, but some downsides
The cabin was VERY clean, but... ants were coming into the kitchen and bathroom constantly! Land lot is sort of close to other neighbors, so NOT too secluded! Dog poop in yard, so hard to walk around without accidently stepping in it... like I did!!! Creek dock wasn't blown off and outside plastic chairs were dirty! Old wood in fire pit outside was left and I really wasn't aware we needed to bring our own! SORRY, maybe I missed that!? Other cabins we have stayed at had left us wood before. Overall, nice and clean, but we've stayed in small cabins before that we're much more kept up outside! They need to hire a maintenance person to also clean up around the outside we suggest before each rental! Dogs from other houses are comin into yard and leaving fresh mess for guests to step in! Sorry, for the lengthy summary, but just wanted others to be aware along with the property owners! The creek and house itself is WONDERFUL though! We would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars!

Great Stay overall, be prepared to deal with a Company
Thanks for an overall wonderfully relaxing stay at this quaint creek-front cabin. The advertising of the property was accurate, and the upkeep is more than adequate. Anyone renting this place, or any other from the Vacasa, please know, you are dealing with a company, not an individual owner. This is not necessarily a bad thing, its just a different thing. This hit home with me when I was planning our arrival. I have stayed at perhaps 2 dozen VRBO-style locations. I have on occasion arrived early, and asked for permission for early-entry. Sometimes the owner responded, with wtte "oh, yeah, sure its already for you." Other times, it was "OH, no! So sorry, we have a lot to do, and we will be pushed to get you set by check in time". Either way, it's all good. The owner-operator interaction was relatable. The corporate response from Vacasa "Please note that for the safety of our cleaning staff you will not be able to enter your rental until after 4pm". So, apparently our arrival before 4pm is a perceived threat. No information on even if the cleaning crew would be there at all that day, much less until 3:59pm. And, yet, Vacasa asked us to start a load of sheets before we left, to help the cleaning crew. For an owner/operator, I would be more willing. One would think that a company has its time and costs identified and doesn't need the renter to pitch in for them. The only issue with THIS place was an invasion of kitchen ants! We got them corralled with some home remedies and some purchased traps. I did inform Vacasa, and asked for any guidance. They chose not to respond. All in all, this place was very relaxing and a good work-staycation for us. We would stay here again, and we would actually rent from Vacasa again, but with different expectations.
