This beautiful creekside retreat truly lives up to its name! Situated on rushing Fightingtown Creek, this lovely 'Southern Living' design cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with all the bells and whistles. The minute you exit your car, you will enjoy the rushing sounds of the creek in your back yard. Cozy up by the fireplace on the screen porch overlooking the creek, play a game of pool in the oversized recreation room or lounge in the 6 person hot tub. Sports fans/movie lovers will enjoy the newly added 52-in plasma TV in the rec room. This cabin has many unique upgrades including kitchen with granite countertops/ stainless appliances and exquisite stonework in the baths. If you enjoy trout fishing, tubing or just playing around in one of the most beautiful creeks in the area, look no further than your front yard! Roast marshmallows in the firepit or just relax in the hammock and watch the creek go by. You will truly enjoy your mountain experience in this luxury cabin.


This is not your 'Typical Cabin'. The furnishings are 5 Star. You will not see a piece of sheet rock on the walls. The entire cabin is filled with hand peeled floors, slate, granite, and wood walls. This cabin was perfect for our long Memorial weekend! From relaxing by the river to watching movies in the basement, we were never bored. The cute town of McCavsville was great, too! We will be back soon!

We had a great time with our 2 small kids and dog! The house had everything we needed and more! Beautiful cabin with perfect area down by the river for a fire. Everyone loved it and we would definitely stay again. The owner is kind and very responsive.

Family Christmas Trip 2023
This year marks multiple years our family has gone to Creek-n-Awesome. We absolutely love the cabin and our host, Rick is always available and accommodating. You will never regret going to this lovely cabin and the McCaysville/Blue Ridge area is wonderful. We’ll be back again next year, God willing!

We had the best time celebrating Christmas here in this beautiful cabin! We came from Ga, Fl and Texas. This cabin has everything you will need and the owners are spot on with replying at anytime. Screen Porch Paradise
Grab your coffee or wine and enjoy this beautiful cabin. Curated with style and location to take you away from it all! Plenty of spaces to gather or tuck away. Having a game room and a covered hot tub was the win for my husband and adult age children. But for me, it was the screened porch, fire place, cozy sitting and the views and sounds of the rushing water. Our host was great and was quick to respond to any questions. This place is on my list to rent again.

Great Cabin get away
Little ones loves the nature walks along the "River". Also loved all the rooms and the awesome hotub! Fire pit has plenty of wood for those romantic evenings with the loved one.

Its not the end of civilization but it can be seen.
Great place to unwind and relax, listen to creek rumble by, take a break in front of a real fire. Everything that was stated was there, just bring food and enjoy.

Mountain Retreat
The property was a wonderful retreat from the work-a-day hustle and bustle. Beautiful creek provided a relaxing background, and the cabin was as advertised. The family enjoyed fishing in the creek and nearby wildlife management areas, and it was just a short ride to good restaurants in Blue Ridge.

Great Cabin, close to activities
Great cabin for our family. Beautiful view of creek. Plenty of space for us all to spread out and have our own space. Kitchen as well as the rest of the cabin were very well stocked. The dog run was great for our pups to get tired out each day and evening.

Great place to stay with 3 dogs.. loved the fenced in porch area.. And fenced in area for puppy business. The cabin was neat and clean. Big enough for 8 adults. The water was too rough for the men to fly fish but Horse Shoe Bend Park was nearby . Definitely will visit again

McCaysville Stay
If you’re looking for a rustic, secluded stay in the woods, Creek-n-Awesome is for you. The property is one of three homes on the road. Two homes were unoccupied during our stay resulting in blissful seclusion! The screened porch was our go-to for morning coffee and an evening toddy. The sound/sight of the water was heavenly. A fenced dog corral is available for pooches to run, but the grass was too high for our Chihuahua. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Downtown McCaysville is just a short drive away for eats and shopping. Be cognizant of opening/closing times. Not all restaurants and retail establishments are open every day, and several have limited hours while open. Blue Ridge is another option for dining/shopping; the drive is relatively short.

Wonderful cabin & setting!!! Only negative, drive your SUV, tight 1+ mile gravel road to cabin.
Although very, very remote, the cabin and setting are fabulous!!! We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We plan to go back and take the kids next time.
