Blue Ridge Majestic Cabin: Aska Adventure | Games

“Balconies and decks everywhere… The view was amazing…so beautiful!” – Elaine, '22

Just north of Georgia's famous Aska adventure area, turn onto the winding gravel road to Majestic Mountain Lodge and feel yourself start to unwind! As you drive past the lake peeping through the trees and head up the mountain, you'll start to imagine plans – hiking, mountain biking, tubing down the Toccoa, wine tasting, shopping downtown Blue Ridge...But once you arrive, all you'll want to do is enjoy the views!

The space
“It's excitement as I drive down the dirt road and begin to see the lake through trees; then pure awe when I pull into the drive and the endless Blue Ridge Mountain view begins to come into focus…” – Chris

With “decks for days” and an ever-changing vista, the relaxation will wash over you and the contentment will set in! Majestic Mountain Lodge has been impeccably – and professionally – decorated with modern rustic decor, complete with vaulted ceilings and log beams. Every amenity has been thought through so every room is full of luxurious comforts.

• Central HVAC
• Game Room
• Sleeps 10
• Smart TVs
• Two remote controlled fireplaces
• Two screened-in balconies
• Unlimited Wifi

You enter a high-end kitchen with charming custom cabinetry and a spacious dining area with a stunning tree trunk table. With additional counter seating for 4, every guest gets a seat at the table!

What's truly special is the open plan view out to the deck and the Blue Ridge mountains beyond. The living area's vaulted ceiling and huge stone fireplace pair perfectly with the luxe leather sectional and the amazing view you have from every seat!

Off the kitchen is an en-suite king bedroom with its own private screened-in deck. There are 4 swivel resort-style chairs and of course the perfect view of the mist coming off the mountains and the lake beyond. The perfect spot for a game of cards or a comfy chat after a day of adventure!

Each bedroom has its own brand new memory foam mattress and a Smart TV, and the guest suite has a sparkling new vanity and tub/shower combo.

“I never needed to watch TV, the view was so stunning and so dynamic. From rainshowers – and a rainbow! – to some truly incredible sunrises, and classic smoky mountain mist at dusk, all I needed was my comfy chair and a glass of wine or a coffee!” – Elizabeth, '23

Upstairs from the living area is the loft mini-suite. A comfy leather recliner and a gracious desk look out from the loft over the main room, and there's even an adjacent screened in deck for reading, napping or just taking that moment.

The upstairs king master has an additional screened deck with 2 over-sized and comfy chairs to view the lake from above the clouds.

The truly deluxe master bath has a lovely double vanity, a huge walk-in shower, and a wonderful inset tub surrounded by windows.

“…you feel like you are at a custom resort vs. a cabin in the woods.” – Michelle H., '23

• Arcade Games like Mrs. Pac-man and Galaga
• Dartboard
• Direct patio access
• Fireplace
• Infinity Game Table
• Pool table
• Two Smart TVs
• Wall-mounted puzzle games

Downstairs from the living area is the ultimate game room and the bunkroom - a queen over queen and a twin over twin with its own tub/shower en-suite bathroom! The bunkroom also has direct access to the covered lower deck.

There's a laundry and every kind of wall game as you walk down the hall to the phenomenal game lounge where classic stand-up arcade games combine with a full-sized pool table and not 1 but 2 Smart TVs!

The piece de resistance is the designer Infinity Game coffee table loaded up with tons more games to make sure the fun never ends!

The entire lower floor also opens out onto a covered deck big enough to play Giant Jenga or corn hole or relax in a rocker and watch for fireflies when the sun goes down.

“…over 1,000 square feet of deck space -- some are covered, some are open and some are screened in -- so regardless of the weather or time of day you can enjoy the outdoors and the views!” – Chris, owner

“Best location of a hot tub with Mountain views!!We enjoyed everything about this home!! The best cabin we have stayed in so far!!!” – Mark, '23

• BBQ Grill
• Hot tub, seats 8
• Firepit
• Outdoor dining table
• BREATHTAKING VIEWS

The main deck off the Living room is the heart of Majestic Mountain Lodge though.

There's resort-style outdoor dining with a dedicated grill area and “captain” seating for the “executive” chefs. And then there's the huge hot tub in probably the best location in Blue Ridge, nestled on the deck's promontory with a direct view out to the beauty of Lake Blue Ridge and the treetops with 24/7 views, from glorious sunrises to dark skies filled with stars and fireflies. This is where memories to last a lifetime are made.

“One of my personal favorite 'added bonuses' was stargazing! After dark we turned off the cabin lights and let our eyes adjust to the night sky - truly amazing!! Me and my husband just sat on the deck with glasses of wine and looked up, for like an hour - felt like 10 minutes! My top memory, as a parent, is probably watching the kids go crazy over this cabin - but this was something special, just for us ;)” - Kati, '23

But wait, there's one last secret spot that makes Majestic Mountain Lodge so unique. Head down the outdoor stairs past a tiered garden and suddenly a truly majestic stone patio is revealed.

Cozy adirondacks surround a built-in firepit where the forest surrounds you, the adventure is palpable and hotdogs or smore's are definitely a requirement – time flies here!

Although you COULD spend your entire vacation at the lodge, you owe it to yourself to experience all that the Blue Ridge area has to offer. There is truly something for everyone from antiquing to Sasquatch, homemade blueberry pie or fudge to boating on the lake.

“We loved tubing with the Blue Ridge Tubing Company and hiking up to Amicalola Falls! We also recommend making the drive to the Swinging Bridge on the Toccoa River, so beautiful. And our favorite restaurant was the Black Sheep in downtown Blue Ridge!” – Daniel, '23

Here's just a sampling of what's amazing about Blue Ridge:

• Aska Adventure Area – hiking, tubing, mountain biking
• Downtown Blue Ridge, Downtown Ellijay and their unique shops and restaurants
• Drive-in movie and the Climbing Place
• Farm to table dining at The Black Sheep
• Flyfishing for Rainbow Trout!
• Lake Blue Ridge – pontoons, kayaks, paddle boards, plus the beach
• Live music at the Marina's Boat Dock Bar & Grill
• Mercier Orchards, Serenberry and Bear Claw Vineyards
• The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway – summer, fall and Santa's Express!
• The Pink Pig BBQ in Cherry Log and Southern Comfort's biscuits
• The Sasquatch Museum
• Toccoa River Swinging Bridge and the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant along the river

And if you've brought your kayak, bike or boots, there's even access to the lake and great trails with just a short drive down the mountain!

The views were spectacular! The house had so many fun perks like games all over the walls and a s’mores station. Next time we will stay longer.

Great Home Great View
Beautiful home in gated neighborhood within close distance to downtown and many activities. The well appointed home was even better than described. The views from this home are nothing short of spectacular. The game room was where we spent a good deal of time. Hot tub at night under the stars was incredible. Relaxing indoors and outdoors, this home did not disappoint.

Exceptional property and host
Property- The cabin is exactly as advertised on the website. As usual, the pictures do not do justice of the amazing views. I have always believed that if you are going to the mountains, then you should stay in the mountains. This cabin definitely qualifies. It’s worth the short drive from downtown Blue Ridge. The kitchen was well equipped with commercial grade appliances. The highlight of the trip was watching the Geminid meteor shower from the hot tub! We will definitely stay here again. Host- Melissa was an excellent host and very accommodating. Sadly, I had a friend pass away the week before our trip. I called Melissa late on Wednesday afternoon and asked if we could adjust our dates to attend his service. Since there were no conflicts with other bookings, she made the changes and was very sympathetic with our situation. I am very thankful for her kindness.

Fun, restful weekend with beautiful views and a wonderful place to stay! Should showcase all of the games and fun in the basement more as it would be a blast for families with teenagers and younger. Missing absolutely nothing!

Breathtaking view
The house has everything including extra blankets and pillows, and a well-stocked kitchen with spices, good cooking knives, and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. Besides the regular amenities, we enjoyed the fireplaces, the arcade games, the pool table, the screened-in porches, and the hot tub under the stars. Having coffee at sunrise on the deck was breathtaking, and a great way to start the day. Something to be aware of is the drive to the house includes a 3-mile narrow, gravel road with a lot of switchbacks, so you have to be careful. But once you’re at the house, it is easy to relax and enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s hands-down, one of the nicest rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

Perfect
My family of four absolutely loved our stay here. This cabin has everything you would want for a vacation in the mountains - it's beautifully decorated with plenty of space to relax and unwind, inside and out. We especially loved family game nights in the game room, smores by the firepit and relaxing in the hot tub with views for days. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will definitely be back!
