Anniversary Trip
We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! Was a great trip and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and location overlooking Table Rock! Just a brief jaunt through the woods and you are at the water’s edge! We lumped a trip to Dogwood Canyon for some excercise! We loved the cabin and will be back!

Perfect Spot
We wanted something relaxing and this was perfect. The place was clean, and stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect. A small walk down to the lake, with a wonderful lake view. The fire pit was perfect for s'more's. Our family of four really enjoyed staying here. We will be back again.

The stay was lovely. One of our girls turned 21 the Monday prior, and she just wanted to spend time with family. Two out door fire pits, having one right by the water was great….and to top it off, some Aurora borealis pictures!!!! What a lovely weekend with my family!

Summer vacation with Grandson.
We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Eye Lodge. We were on the water where we were able to use our kayaks and swim. And we were close enough to Branson to enjoy Dogwood Canyon and the Branson Jet Boat.

Beautiful, well-maintained property in a great location
We had a fantastic time and were very pleased with the decor and comfort of the house. The road makes it difficult to get to, but worth it given its location on Table Rock Lake! The hot tub and fire pit are a great addition!

Nice place with great lake access
We really enjoyed the cottage; plenty of space, clean and well stocked on kitchen supplies. Easy walk to the lake; although there is no dock, the small gravel beach is an easy walk into the lake and we enjoyed swimming, skipping stones and making s'mores at the fire pit (owner provided wood was great). Lots to do in the area and would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Lake retreat
This was a lovely place! The kitchen was well stocked. There's even a Cuisinart ice cream freezer that we used! Beds were comfy & house was clean. Excellent location close to the water. We brought our kayaks along. It's also close to a marina. Would definitely come back again!

Excellent home
This was a great place for the whole family. Plenty of space, and plenty of space outdoors for some adventures. Short walk to the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pits on the cold evenings! 2nd Stay at Blue Eye Cottage
We took our four granddaughters for another stay at the cottage. We love the peaceful atmosphere and secluded location. Everything is always nice and clean. The girls enjoy having the upstairs as their space. When we arrived this time, one of them said, “we’re home!” 😊

Great family get away
This place was warm, cozy and well equipped with whatever you may need. We cooked a big Thanksgiving meal here and with all the pots, pans and utensils, we had everything we needed! Aside from it being way off the beaten path and a moderate drive to major attractions, we loved our stay. The host put up a Christmas tree for us, which have the place an even warmer feel. I would recommend this pace for sure!

Wonderful!
My kids and I had an amazing visit to the cottage. The house was perfect and the surrounding area was beautiful. The view from the deck is amazing and we all enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub after a day of fun. We saw deer every day and even a few turkeys. We loved being out of town yet it's close enough that it was no problem to head into town to visit the attractions or grab a bite to eat. I can't think of anything I would have changed about our visit!

The property is beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating is because of the access. It truly is a one lane gravel road. There is also a fairly steep hill that was iced over making it difficult to get in and out. If I had known this prior to booking I would have brought a different vehicle. Property manager was excellent to respond and the house was very clean. Everything we wanted was in it.

clean and relaxing little Nook nestled right by the lake
WOW!!!!! better in person the pictures do not do it justice!!!! was very impressed on how clean and nice everything was, I can tell owners really tried hard to make it inviting and comfortable. its right off the lake which was super! hot tub was great.... sitting out on deck at night with all nature sounds and all the stars was so pretty. Having a full kitchen to cook saved on having to eat out all the time. would def stay again, owners were very nice to deal with. I bet this place is absolutely amazing when the trees change color!!!!! our family will be back again, 5 stars def recommend this to couples or families for a fun trip that is close to Branson but not the normal strain of having to live out of a hotel.

Family Reprieve
10/10 recommend this cottage!!! It was spacious, yet cozy. Very clean! The beds were comfortable and the space was so nicely decorated! Nothing was held back with this property, it's incredible! The lake access was perfect with a short walk through the forest. We felt like we were on a deserted island barely seeing anyone else the whole stay. Great accommodations with the chairs, fire pits, deck, and hot tub, and even kitchen supplies. We actually had an awful car crash on the way here in Nebraska. All of us were jarred, whiplash, totaled van and all, but we decided we needed to push forward and enjoy the trip we planned. We rented a van and completed our travel. The home, the lake, and the nature all around were incredibly healing for the trauma we just encountered. We were blessed!

Great getaway
Overall we tried to enjoy our stay. The weather was just crazy the weekend we went. One night we had storms and hail and another night we got 3 inches of snow. The road to get to the house is kind of rough... enough so that I wouldn't take the car to go to town on my own. The house was nice and clean. I only really have 2 complaints. The cookware was terrible and the jets on the bathtub I couldn't get to work. If you book this home for a vacation I strongly suggest you bring your own pans to cook in. We tried to make most of our meals since this is a ways from town and I really wish I had just brought a couple of my own. But other than that the stay was nice and we might would stay here again!

Second Time Back to Tall Tree Cottage!
We had a great stay at Tall Tree Cottage, this was our second visit but this time we brought the kids! Everything was very clean and we loved using kitchen, Harter House for groceries is where we went, they had everything we needed. Our kids enjoyed skipping rocks & walking the shore, making a bonfire & smores, renting a boat with a water tube from the Bass Pro Marina, sunsets on the lake & all the beautiful scenery! The Marina has beer, soda, water & anything you'd need for a day of boating! We had perfect weather & got so lucky with all the sunshine. We loved going down to the Landing for dinner and shopping, the weather was perfect. Our kids really had a great time! The only things that would have made our stay better would have been faster internet (understandable for the area) & less noisy beds. Having a young child in the room with us, it was hard overnight soothing the child when she woke up and then getting back into the bed quietly without waking my husband or the baby back up! We could also hear the squeaky bed in the room upstairs from the master room. It's very understandable that the internet isn't the best in the area since the Cottage is so secluded but it was a real struggle just searching for things to do & mapping places to go! I'd make sure to have an outline of what you want to do & where everything is before your trip, download Google maps for offline use. T-Mobile cell service isn't great & the internet connection isn't reliable. Thankfully they had kid movies at the cottage, that was very helpful & appreciated! We brought our own high chair & play pen & gated off the stairs & fireplace for the 1.5 year old, worked out well! Overall, everything was fantastic & very relaxing. Last time we were there, a lot less neighbors were around so we were a little surprised with how it wasn't as private as it was previously but we still had a great time! We're looking forward to coming back & bringing the rest of the family. We're thinking about about renting the Cottage & Retreat to bring our extended family next time!
