Gorgeous cabin, not so secluded.
The actual cabin was gorgeous. Well stocked. Beautiful bedroom furniture. The back balcony was a beautifully wooded nature lover’s paradise.Proximity to Branson was perfect. Dave was a very pleasant man and quick to communicate. The only thing we were not happy with was the entrance driving up to the cabin. It was an old trailer park and not well kept. The cabin was at the end of that. Not very pleasant to see or hear when it was advertised as private. I appreciate his outreach to veterans/handicapped, but a little more transparency about this would’ve been nice to know when paying this much for privacy and seclusion.

Anniversary Getaway
We had a wonderful week in the Branson area while celebrating our 40th anniversary. Bear Cliff Cabin was a delight! The cabin was clean, comfortable, roomy, and had everything we needed. The view from the back porch was awesome; we enjoyed watching a variety of wildlife including woodpeckers, bluejays, squirrels, and even a doe while listening to the wind sing through the beautiful, tall forest before us. The owner/host couple live elsewhere on the property and were very friendly and responsive. We were close enough to Branson to be on the main strip in about 20 minutes, but far enough out to get a quiet, country experience. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Just a little getaway.
The cabin itself is nice a bit eclectic which did not bother us, it was well stocked with the things you need. We had trouble with the coffee pot, but we let David the owner know so I think he will take care of it, just took a really long time to brew one pot. We did not see any trails that led to the lake, but we just drove over to it no big deal. the view off the back porch was nice very wooded area. there is a trailer park right in front of the cabin so the view out the front is not as nice. However, it was quiet it was not noisy or anything like that just not the best view. But if you are like us, we were in an out, so it was not too bad for us. It's not luxury but it did the trick.

Nice little house, nice owner
The house is as advertised, but there a few things we didn't care for. 1. House is at the end of a short road that is filled with 19 old, rundown trailers. The view from the rear of the house is nice, but the front is not good. 2. There are no doors on the bathrooms. It was okay since I was there with my spouse, but if I was sharing a room with a friend - no. 3. The bathroom in the larger bedroom has no shower, only a deep jetted tub. The couple who were staying in that room were also seniors and couldn't get in and out of the tub. They had to use the shower in our room. 4. The decor could use a little updating. The entire house is covered in silk flowers/vines. Although the house was very clean, it's almost impossible to get the dust off the silk plants. A lot of people have dust allergies. The silk plants were dusty. On the positive side, the house is nice and handicapped accessible, except for the lack of the shower in the second bathroom.

Perfect morning coffee
This cabin is darling! G'ma & G'pa entertaining teenage G-daughter and with the two rooms/bathrooms it was so comfortable. in all aspects. The front and back decks are spacious with a clear view to nature. Incredibly peaceful. With all that off-the-grid stuff, still perfectly positioned to quickly access Big Cedar assets and marinas to play on the lake. Very reasonably priced is the bonus!

Super clean and quiet.
The cabin was super clean and quiet. The view off of the back porch was good and it was very relaxing. The owners were great and straight up about everything. The trailers that you drive by are for veterans and most of them are disabled. As veteran, I appreciate how the owners make sure that they have somewhere to live. We sat on the front porch and back porch it was always quiet 24/7. Highly recommend!

Cabin In A Neighborhood
The cabin was very nice as well as the host, the cabin is listed as secluded but is located at the end of the property in a neighborhood. It was however peaceful and quiet, the back deck faces the woods.

The cabin is quiet, clean and has a cozy, rustic quality. Owners take good care of the cabins. Very comfortable. If you are looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you just want to relax in a beautiful, wooded setting, this is great! The nearby mobile homes are for elderly and handicapped people, owned by the same people that run the cabins. I was not bothered by them at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Secluded Cabin
We enjoyed our little getaway at the Cabin. We loved the view from porch. You could sit and relax and enjoy the view. Plenty of birds flying around. We just felt very close to nature. The whole cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our baby boy who just turned 7 months was enjoying new place. We even soked a little in the bath tub. Our dog had plenty of space to run and sniff and bark. We loved the details in the cabin as there was a lot of things made by owner. David was very helpful whenever you need anything. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into his cabins. He wants his guest to feel like at home. We will definetly be back!

I'll definitely be back
Was a wonderful stay had plenty of linens, towels for us all to use, plenty of dishes, pots/ pans. We sat out on the porch so much, the only downside was 3 of us got stung by a wasp. We tried hiking in the back to look for the lake but it was closed off by bobwire fence. I'm not sure if we were supposed to go a different way ? There was tons of wildlife, and places to go swimming near by. They were so informative off any thing we could possibly need. Wish i had more time to see his knive connection that he makes. Thank you so much!

Great getaway
We chose this cabin because of how close to Branson it was. If you are wanting to do things in Branson it is an easy drive into town. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Our only hiccup was this cabin is nestled up against a forest and ticks were plentiful this year. We were glad our dogs were on preventative medicine which helped to alleviate any problems. The owner was nice and accommodating with any questions we had. Even bought one of his beautiful handmade lamps that he makes!

So relaxing
My husband and I needed to get away but didn’t want to travel very far from home. I came across this perfect place just a 5 hr drive. The cabin was beautiful and had everything that we needed. Our second day there we met the owners and were given a tour of the second cabin on the property. We would recommend this place to anyone and will be looking to book there again in the future.
