The dining area features a table for ten, and chefs of all skill levels will enjoy cooking in the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, commercial gas range, granite countertops and a breakfast bar with additional seating for four. Also on the main level, is a laundry room as well as a separate reading room where you can relax as you take in Mountain Camp's peaceful mountain views.

Step through French doors onto the main level's 850 square foot, private outdoor living area where you will enjoy soft morning vistas from your covered, tree top veranda high above the Blue Ridge Parkway. Relax around the gas fire table in rockers and Adirondack chairs. Take in the mountain charm from your five-person hot tub as the afternoon sun paints a picture while it sets behind the distant mountains. You will be greeted in the evening by the twinkling lights of Foscoe and Banner Elk across the Blue Ridge Valley. Savor the cool mountain breezes while you cook on the Weber gas grill for your family and friends as you prepare a feast for them to enjoy under the stars at the ten-seat outdoor dining table.

Time for bed? Still on the main level is the master suite with a king size bed, walk-in closet, private bathroom with large claw-foot tub, and tiled, oversized shower. There is also another bedroom with a queen size bed adjoining a full bathroom with a large, tiled shower.

Downstairs, there is a full-size game room with a piano, pool table, and a sitting area where you can watch your 85" Smart TV. time with family
Our family of 6 adults and 1 very busy 3yo had a wonderful time at the Mountain Camp. The pictures don't adequately show how much room there is inside and on the deck, where we spent most of the evenings. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, and the location makes visiting Blowing Rock and the other towns in the area very easy. We hope to come back for another stay. I already miss that view!

Beautiful cabin with great amenities & location!
Had a long weekend couples trip at this cabin and it was perfect! Probably the cleanest property I've stayed at & I've stayed at a bunch. The whole covered back deck was perfect even on a rainy day you can enjoy the hot tub & fire table with gas grill. It was a great place to just relax, unwind and drink a few glasses of wine. If I had to make any suggestions for improvement it would only be a bar area in the basement with a refrigerator because there are a lot of steps to go upstairs, especially when having a couple of drinks. The water pressure also seemed low but tolerable. These were the only things at all I could come up with for suggestions because it was an amazing weekend!

The perfect girls weekend getaway
We had an absolutely magical weekend at Mountain Camp. The location was perfect, the views were unmatched and the amenities were just what we needed. Honestly, the pictures don't do the back porch justice - we spent the majority of our time around the fire table and in the hot tub enjoying the views and mountain air. The kitchen is well-appointed and the house was clean. We did have a little issue with the door code on arrival but the team at Blue Ridge responded promptly and helped us get in. I can't say enough great things about this place - really hope to come back and enjoy it again soon!

We love this cabin and we love Blue Ridge Rentals! They always take very good care of us. Although this time the cabin was very dusty, hand prints and smudge marks on the windows, glass doors, and mirrors. The front of the fridge, oven and dishwasher were also dirty. Fans and stair case were covered in dust and the floors were dirty. Sheets were old and piled. We were disappointed because this has been our families favorite rental for years. We still love Blue Ridge Rentals and we still left a tip for Billie the cleaning lady. Hopefully it will be better next time. Also, side note… I did not message or call them about this issue while there, we did not want our stay interrupted by someone coming to “re-clean” so my daughters and I took care of it. The additions on the house are beautiful. Could use an upgrade to the kitchen and appliances.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing weekend. Perfect chefs kitchen. Something very everyone, big screen TVs to watch March madness, pool table, hot tub, fire pit. The reading room was a perfect start for daily devotionals. The sunset views on the back porch were the perfect ending each day.

Broken fire pit, downstairs room unclean
A major reason I booked this property was because of the beautiful fire pit on the front porch. I booked this trip about 5 months ago, and was never told this amenity was broken. When we got to the property, I was very disappointed that this did not work at all. I reached out to the owner through VRBO message and they did not respond. In addition, the bedroom downstairs was not clean at all. It was covered in black dog hair and crumbs all over the sheets, housekeeping did not clean this downstairs room or bathroom at all.

Best. Stay. Ever!!
We have stayed in many mountain cabins, and this was by far our favorite of all time!! The view is amazing. Location is perfect. Private, but close to everything! The home itself is beautiful, and decorated so lovely. Our teen kids and their friends stayed in the downstairs area which is perfect for teens/kids. The little trails on the property are also really cool to explore! We loved it here, and would defanitly stay here again.

Summer stay
This was our first time to the Blowing Rock area and this house is in a great location. A short drive to downtown Blowing Rock and easy/convenient access to other areas (downtown Boone, Grand Father Mountain, etc.). Property management company was excellent and incredibly responsive leading up to trip. House was solid and has great view off of back patio. Only negatives about house include dated furniture, only one tv (there is one other one but in poor location), and very weak/slow internet (I think a prior review also noted this). We would definitely stay here again (primarily due to location), but would probably look for other options first.

Spring Break 21 @ Mountain Camp
We had an amazing vacation at this property. We had 2 family’s with 4 adults & 5 teenagers. This house has the perfect set up the way it’s laid out. The upstairs was where the adults stayed and then downstairs was the teenagers area... and ours too when the parents wanted to beat the kids at a game of pool! There were 2 bedrooms, full bath and loft downstairs with a entertainment room with pool table for the teens. Great area, so close to the cute town of Blowing Rock and a 30 min drive to Sugar Mountain where everyone has a blast snow skiing and then the hot tub was perfect for warming us up after a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be back to this property it was Perfect!

Amazing home in BR!
Me and four of my girlfriends booked this house for a long weekend and it was perfect! It’s literally less than half a mile down from WestGlow which made it very convenient for our day at the spa. Communication with the rental management company was fantastic and the house was well stocked and super clean. Plenty of towels for everyone including for the hot tub and we each got a robe which was great. The hot tub was very clean and well-maintained. The views were spectacular and we especially loved the sitting room off the kitchen. This house has everything you need and plenty of space for a big family gathering. It is just a short drive to downtown Blowing Rock which was perfect. The only suggestion I would have is to install some kind of wireless booster because when you have multiple people on the Wi-Fi it tended to run pretty slow. Otherwise it’s an amazing house that even includes a garage for two cars which was really nice when we got a huge dump of snow. We will definitely book again.

We planned this long weekend to enjoy time with our adult children. We were all blown away by this beautiful clean house! The kitchen is immaculate and stocked with everything you will need to fix meals with. If staying in the master bedroom be prepared for a comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. The master bath is beautiful you have to use the tub! Everyone else found their rooms just as nice and comfy. The view from the deck is spectacular using the hot tub is a must. No neighbors can be seen from the house and you only have a short drive to town. We hope to be able to come back next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us it was such a beautiful place! P.S. would love to know where the master bedroom pillows came from 😊

The MOUTAIN Camp but so close to Blowing Rock
The Mountain Camp house and property were exactly as described and detailed in the pictures provided by VRBO, The 1st floor has a very nice layout with the adjacent living room, dining room and kitchen all having a great view of the mountain. The kitchen is well stocked with the required necessities for cooking, cleaning and entertaining. While we were at the house I spent most of my time on the back porch enjoying the view while my wife and niece enjoyed the hot tub. The 1st floor bedrooms are nicely situated and well laid out The master bedroom is very comfortable with a large walk in closet and a private luxury bath with two separate sinks, a shower with a seat and a private toilet room. The lower level enhanced the relaxation that we enjoyed with a large recreation room having a pool table and a a section for viewing television. Two lower level bedrooms and a hall bath were privately located away from the rec room area. The bedroom with the queen size bed is very nice with an outdoor window giving it the feel of not being buried in the basement of a house.
